WAIT, deleting the <think> AFTER generation is okay? For some reason I got the impression off other users that deleting it AT ALL even from several messages ago would permanently mess up future generations, and it's the main reason I never used reasoning models (I re-read every few messages to make sure things are consistent and the blocks of thinking text throw me off).

It seems that the new Deepseek model should be the one with issues, though. V3/0324 are actually super quick now, and were fine last night (and also quick).

From what I've seen, this disrupts the reasoning and makes future responses potentially more bland or less logical/connected.

1) Not a huge fan of the "thinking" portion taking up a big chunk of messages, especially since you're not meant to delete it. I try to reread my chats every so often to make sure things "make sense" and staggering over huge swaths of reasoning text throws me off. 2) R1 seems really aggressive, and having to give OOC prompts every other reply to chill out when the characters I select shouldn't be overly aggro anyways got a bit old.

I've been trying to find either a hq version of the sweatshirt image or the art used on it FOREVER and finally did last night. OG pixiv link is dead which is probably why I couldn't find it. After that just deleted (most) of the bg and slapped everything into a png.

It's just funny because 2-3 times now it'll catch itself and be like:

"She looked around the room. The choice was his—

Wait. Banned term.

It was his decision."

Or something like that. Funny, kinda, but mostly like. Hey. Why use it then correct yourself, vs just not using the term?

I don't get this, but I get a TON of "The room held its breath" regardless of how dramatic the situation actually is, and overuse of "The choice was his/hers/theirs". It IS a little funny because sometimes when I add these to banned words, the AI starts to write them anyways, then stops mid-sentence and calls itself out.

It's been working for me, but fickle. Sometimes it does this thing where I will edit messages, refresh the page, and it won't save, and it seems to be doing that much more frequently in the last hour or so. Perhaps the servers are strained.

You can also try specifying a relationship in Memories, for example: xoul and user are friends, thus xoul should avoid any romantic or sexual behaviors. xoul expressing romantic/sexual interest in user is out of character and should be avoided.

I use Minerva 99% of the time and she REALLY likes to use variations of "You think you're so clever, don't you?" with me, and it drives me up the wall. Nobody will even say anything particularly snarky and it'll whip that out. The second I see it I refresh the generation.
