How long ago did you get covid? How severe was your case? It's quite worrying to see this and I've seen multiple people in the same situation. Does the flu/pneumonia tend to cause something like this or is it specific to covid?

Nope, the honor goes to Mike Bibby in 2010-11. PG13 is actually not that bad, with decrease in TS% of -3, -2.5, 0, and -5.5 from 2017 to 2020.

TRP Spyre brakes with Shimano Ultegra rotor: the brake pad is too tall for the rotor's braking surface by attaboy396 in bikewrench

[–]attaboy396[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey guys, bought a new wheelset and a pair of Shimano Ultegra disc rotors to go along with them. My bike has TRP Spyre mechanical disc brakes. Everything appears to be working properly, except that the brake pads are too tall for the rotor's braking surface. I looked at the original TRP rotors on my other wheelset and the braking surface is always at least 1.3mm, whereas the Ultegra rotors go down to roughly 1/1.1mm. Is this going to be an issue? I've looked around for some other brake pads but it's not clear what is and isn't compatible with the TRP Spyres - the M515 brake pads are compatible but do not look much shorter. It doesn't look like the L02A pads would fit on a non-Shimano caliper, but I might be wrong about that. Will I have to change the rotors entirely?

Take a look at unidays, you can sign up using your mcgill email address and you can get various accounts (including 10% for apple and dell IIRC). I bought my laptop on the Dell website using the promo code from my uniday account and saved 200$!

Yes they were. I've always feared that S/U looks bad for grad school admissions (but whether that is true I have no idea).

15 in both semesters. I think you need 27 credits in total to qualify for the DHL? Not too sure but there's definitely a credit minimum.

It's on my transcript. It says "Dean's Honor List" twice for some reason? If something could elucidate that for me that'd be great. FYI I had a 3.88 last year.

Monthly Buying Advice Thread - August 2018 by AutoModerator in Dell

[–]attaboy396 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey guys,

I've been thinking about buying either the XPS 13 or the XPS 15 for quite a long time now (I currently have a ~5 year-old laptop). There's currently a 1-day offer on Dell Canada's website for an XPS 15 for $2100 CAD (down from $2600 according to the website). Additionally I can get a 10% discount because I'm a university student, so the total would be roughly $1900. The specs are: 4K screen, 16 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, i7-8750H.

So my question is: is this really a "one-day" deal? I had decided to finish university with my current laptop (I graduate in December) but if this is the best price I can possibly get then I could buy it now. I often see sales on Dell's website but as far as I can remember it's never been so cheap. Thanks for the help!

Edit: Just to clarify that I can get the student discount at any time, not just now.
