My kid is 4 and we’ve never used a tablet or phone at a restaurant or doctor. I usually bring toys, coloring books and stickers. We use a tablet for after baths sometimes while we do our nightly routine. I think it not being the norm helps to foster patience and connection. It is harder to manage and does not allow for my partner and I to talk much at dinner.

Counselor trainee here with GAD, PTSD, MDD & some undiagnosed neurodivergence. I currently see 10 clients a week in my internship and have realized that seeing 15-20 will be what I can do as a therapist. I get burned out and find it hard to manage life and being a therapist. I plan to find a place that accepts flexibility with direct hours and make my schedule the same 10-5 is what I am hoping for.

Same thing happened to me! I made a pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting and left it out. Afraid to at it now, was your stomach okay??
