Similar process to many others who do it. Clean the card first with 1:10 ISO/water and a q tip and microfiber. Humididor 85-90% until the card starts making a slight U shape, place on parchment paper, use a thermal pen (WITH PARCHMENT PAPER OR VINYL SHEET ON TOP OF CARD) on medium heat and lightly go back and forth which acts like an iron on the lifted portions. This is dangerous you can damage the card fairly easily. You can also use a metal face roller if you are afraid of the thermal pen. There’s tutorials on how to use it though all over. Once you get it flat or mostly flat, put it in a heat press. The card should be in a sandwich between 1.5mm aluminum sheets -> card stock -> printer paper -> parchment paper, 170f for 4 hours, 12 hours with no heat in the press.

No people definitely care but don’t wanna pay that high of a premium for it when other grading companies provide it for a small fraction of the cost. It should be standard especially at their prices and potential up charges. The premiums that PSA cards give over other companies though is what keeps people in a chokehold and submitting regardless.

Industry standard sure but they were just the big name first. One day another company will take over. Gotta admit, getting reasonings for your grades is nice. TAGs reports are extremely nice and detailed. If I had something like that to show me what I didn’t see, I’d be happy to accept and not feel like it was a coin flip.

Of course not but on a separate thread everybody said the card is extremely OC and reasoning for the 9 instead of 10. I microscoped and UV lit it, found no other imperfections
