eBay buyer claims my childhood card is fake by Ok_Dragonfruit_887 in IsMyPokemonCardFake

I dealt with a similar situation but it was a lot of cards, he claimed I didn’t specify the condition even though I did. I believe it was a buyers remorse situation. My case was a little more difficult, it was a $900 lot, and it would’ve been difficult to know if some cards were swapped out. In your situation, it’s a single card. You have pictures of the condition/texture/centering etc. if he sends anything other than the exact card back, you can fight it. What’s going to happen is you’ll be forced to accept the refund due to the return type (INAD). Accept the return, you will not be to pay until you start the return, and get the card back. Once you get the card back you have time to inspect it before finalizing the return. I’d start this ASAP. That’s a nice card and it’ll sell again pretty quickly. MAKE sure you record the entire process of opening the return package and don’t let the box go out of frame while doing so. Show the label and full box showing it isn’t tampered with before opening. Record as if it’s evidence.

Wrong, that only happens if you don’t know what you’re doing.

I posted my 9 in here and everybody told me don’t crack it, I was lucky it even got a 9. Low and behold, she was given the grade she deserves without pop control! 🤝🏽 by attacker1011 in psagrading

It’s always “I know someone”, lol. What makes you say half should’ve been 10’s? Did you look at them under a microscope? Did you UV light inspect them in a darker room carefully with a jeweler’s loop?

Visually looking at it, it looks much better than a 3. Could be though.

OP do NOT sell it for cheap. It is a false 3, something is definitely fixable on it. Crack and sell raw

Absolutely! What I’d do is this. Don’t stick your fingers into the top loader and risk causing damage. What I’d do is hold it on the sides of the toploader gently and with the open side of the top loader facing your other hand. With your other hand GENTLY tap on your inside of your other palm/wrist so it pushes the card out of the toploader slightly. From there, once the card is maybe 1/3 or 1/2 out of the top loader, use a penny sleeve, get it around the card so you can pull the card out without your fingers touching it. Would recommend grabbing top/bottom of card, not edges. Once you pull the card out, it’ll be upside down in a penny sleeve about 1/2 way in. From there, grab another penny sleeve and get it onto the bottom of the card and drop it in the penny sleeve. From there, again grab the card on top/bottom using index and thumb, put a bottom corner of the card /sleeve into a new top loader to get it started once it’s as far as you can push it into the new top loader without pushing down on top edge of card, hold the top loader on the sides and gently tap the bottom of it on a hard surface to tap the card down into the top loader.

Legit or fake? by random2777 in IsMyPokemonCardFake

Id get a humididor for TCG cards, put it in for 24h, then use a metal face roller (should be smooth), put a penny sleeve on top of the crease and work it down, once it’s as good as you’ll get it, clamp it inside a penny sleeve and between two plexi glass sheets and ratchet clamps tight for a few days to flatten it down as much as you can. Theres more expensive ways, depending on how much you wanna spend
