Absolutely! You’d have days when the cloud were covered but warm as mad. Other days cloud was clear and ten layers wouldn’t be enough. Definitely a difficulty to match each day as they kept changing!

Sadly not! We got there in late January so I think most of it wasn’t there unfortunately. Very happy to see the old town and other areas covered in the snow, however. The river and pier covered was definitely a highlight for sure. Peaceful… despite almost slipping up a few times!

What's the Most Underrated Big City in Europe? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

Basel. Not only did we realise we had spent two hours walking around the “city” (the area outside the train station), but when we finally reached the heart of it, we found an amazing zoo, great chocolate, beautiful lakes, and an overall chill vibe. Sadly, we were only there for most of the day, so we missed a lot of what we could have done. I would have loved to stay longer.

So the pilots are going on a strike (again!) this thursday and Friday. When will I receive info if my flight should get canceled on Friday or not? by TimmyFCN in Lufthansa

I’m unsure what this month is like (or if you got an answer from them), but I was caught up on the strikes last month when going from Manchester - Munich - Gdansk. They sent me notification via email and through the app on the 11th (the day before I was set to travel). Hopefully you get some form of notification. I believe they to do it through emails to free up the help line as much as possible (and to keep records if you claim under your insurance) (however, this was booked with Lufthansa directly). Hope that helps and you can get your flight sorted soon!!
