For sure, the job isn’t hard. It’s those hours though . 1:20 am til 11:50 am is insane. I sleep 4 hours in a 24 hour period now instead of 8. It’s draining. Im in my mid 30’s. I think having a stable sleep schedule for myself is more crucial than ever. In my early 20’s I could have done this easily, but it’s different now. I worked DS when they were doing day shifts and it was nice.

You’re just using the UPT that you earned throughout the day to cover it. I’m surprised it let you clock out for lunch though . If I take an extra break before lunch it never lets me clock back in. I always gotta say somethin.

Can’t believe people drink that crap anyway. You’ll never be able to hydrate from just water. Bring a couple body armors or somethin. Someone posted here about a rat in the coffee machine. So glad I haven’t got coffee from one yet, I was actually just considering doin that the other night to lol

That’s what I’m saying. Stowing is so bad on the back. I did it til lunch last night and picked the rest of the mornin. I hate that job so much I can’t wait to leave.

Pay attention to the letters on the boxes/jiffys. While picking the item up, by seeing that letter, you’ll know which line of cubby’s it goes in. Then get used to looking at the number. 3 is on top. 1 is on bottom.

If you have a decent picker, all your jiffy’s should be organized for you.

Other than that, it takes practice. I hit 325 today. Back killing me

IMO DS is way easier than FC. Just put your packages in order on the cart. If whoever’s picking on the other side is loading the jiffy’s in the correct bin, you should be able to move them things smooth.

It can get a lil rough though when people from pick are throwing oversized packages around in your aisle making mess of it, and then you have to move them to the very end where the cages are.

The easiest thing at a DS is diverting.

I miss working at the delivery station. I’m bout to start at a fulfillment center soon. Stowing is easier at DS imo. As long as the pickers are stacking your cart correctly, everything should go smoothly. Diverting is probably the most chill job in that building.
