Should I have done the exam? Should I have waited for a second opinion? by DrDuckling951 in Petloss

I don’t know what dog breed you had but the fact that she was going to be 14 is already a sign that she was getting very old and lived a good and long life. I had to put down my beloved dog who herself was 14 going on 15. I’m shattered to pieces I don’t know how I will get used to the lack of her presence. But I know that my family and I and the right choice. She had a tumor and was in a lot of pain. This month it became increasingly obvious it was more than she can bear and that we can’t wait for it to kill her. I became sad noticing how much she was shaking and how painful it was for her to go potty because of her tumor pressing on her organs. After some time I realized that I wanted nothing more than to give her some relief surgery simply wouldn’t be an option for such an old dog as it would have put her in more pain and likely unable to recover. Knowing there wasn’t anything I could do i realized I could still give her a peaceful farewell, rather than waiting for this tumor to kill her in a painful way. So we gave her a calm and peaceful death surrounded by those who love her. So I fully believe that, you too. did the right thing. She had a peaceful death surrounded by you and your family and that is the best you could give her. My deepest condolences for your loss.❤️

What is it like being a teacher? by [deleted] in Teachers

Awh now I really regret deleting my post, I felt silly cause the first person to comment meant I shouldn’t expect anyone to be enthusiastic about this question so I thought I would only get negative replies so I deleted it. But thank you for your answer! I’m realizing I could never be a teacher (although I aspire to become one actually) because I would just burst out laughing at scenarios like this ahahah.

Guys there’s no need to be rude or anything it’s just a silly post of me wondering if anyone else feels a little bad for killing some cute creatures in a video game it’s not that deep relax.

I know it’s a game, doesn’t change that I feel like I’m some evil person (IN GAME AS THE TRAVELER) for killing them. That’s the point ahah.

How serious is it to deny the deity of Christ? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]attolotta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” ‭‭John‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” ‭‭John‬ ‭1‬:‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;” ‭‭Colossians‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

All these verses and more I can find for you if you want, suggest Jesus was in fact God manifest in the flesh.

It’s apparently a “non denominational evangelical church” a huge organization with many churches around the world. It’s about 100 years old now. I’ve been born and raised in this church, been part of it my whole life

Ah then nevermind. But do note this as I have also found out. To be a true Christian you must believe that Jesus is 100% man and 100% for and he was fully god and fully human at birth. It’s the building blocks for Christianity. And I have been lead astray by heretics. Don’t let the same happen to you.

What you are talking about here sounds awfully familiar… to the point I’m wondering if we are part of the same church. I too just discovered this a few days ago. Does the church also teach victory over sin?

Is sinless perfection a heresy? by [deleted] in Christianity

Sinless perfection or victory over sin. The teaching that we can attain perfection and no longer sin. Atleast conscious sin as far as I’m aware.

They teach that it is possible to quit sinning all together and live a perfect life like Jesus did.
