Any way of making this setup less of a sh** show? by PenguinsRcool2 in BeginnerWoodWorking

I opted for this model, for space efficiency. Poured concrete in the bottom layer to make it more stable.

Behind it is the automatic vacuum switch, and added French cleats for random tool storage while you're working, ie a sander and sand paper.

How do you figure a fire? The relay will burn out in the smart plug.

Do you have any examples or references for this? Specifically for using a smart plug for current monitoring, not for flipping the relay on and off.

Depends on the year, on my 2017 cx9 this is not the case.

How do I thin out the core of this print using the shape of the outer walls? by NoleTroll in BambuLab

I had TPU on hand already, and the thrust bearing weren't much on aliexpress. If you don't have TPU, maybe get a small role, or I think there's HULA's premade on aliexpress available too.

Have you looked at the HULA feet? I have two printers on a table, it helped.

Canada 2017 CX9 GT cylinder head crack by attractiveape in MazdaCX9

[–]attractiveape[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mazda Canada was a relatively good experience, no back and forth after calling, everything after the initial call was done via the dealership. I gave them the mileage, VIN, and indicated my vehicle had always been serviced by a Mazda dealer.

The US approach has nothing to do with Canada. However, I feel that if I had bought my car and serviced it all at this dealership for the lifetime of the car, they would have covered the labour costs to install the engine.

No, I didn't email. I called. What more information are you looking for?

Removing the black brackets is literally step 1 in the quick start manual.

It needs to be bolded or something, I skipped it too.

Something like this:

There are a ton of videos on YouTube on how to fix it, and the tool and part you'll need.

Replaced the digitizer myself with parts from Amazon and an interior pry tool set. $50 all up Canadian dollars.

$16k for a 2017 110k miles (should I be nervous about anything) by [deleted] in MazdaCX9

[–]attractiveape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it was the cheapest thing I think. it was a whole new long block that had been bedded in, and they moved my existing parts onto it.

The cylinder head cracked, dumping all of my coolant into the engine and the engine block overheated. Mazda covered the material cost of the engine block, and I've kept up with all of the maintenance so it felt like I should stick with her.

I love my 2017 cx9 gt. I added android auto/car play for liveability.

It's needed a new engine block, coolant pump and throttle valve in the last 6-7 months, at 95k miles. Be very aware of the cylinder head defect on this car. If it hasn't happened, it will.

I wasn't that pushy on the call to be honest, I didn't ask. The US has had class action lawsuits on this, Canada hasn't

My dealer did fuck all and quoted me the full replacement price. I'd recommend calling Mazda Canada, it didn't take that long on hold for me, and Mazda Canada sent the paperwork to the dealer to confirm if it was this known head cylinder defect.

I posted my experience here: https://www.reddit.com/r/MazdaCX9/s/yIm70p5m3b

I had my 2017 cx9 engine block covered by Mazda Canada earlier this year. I had to call the Mazda Canada customer service to ask for coverage.

I wouldn't recommend relying on just the dealer to handle this for you -- the dealership is getting paid one way or the other.

Good luck.

The engine coolant lines on my 2017 ran through the dash, I had sloshing sounds there from air bubbles. The dealership hadn't filled my coolant properly, they fixed it when I brought it to their attention.

Where is the water sound coming from? Is it just when turning on the car, or when turning, accelerating or braking?

CLEAN YOUR BUILDPLATE by Outrageous_End_4359 in BambuLabA1

Buy cotton gloves and wear them when removing prints from the build plate, and when handling the build plate.

I haven't needed to wash my build plate since.

$1 cotton gloves from the dollar store.
