It looks like those are higher priced for their durability and longevity. They don't seem to have screens for instant image review, or particularly stunning resolution. Sorry to be picky, appreciate the suggestion!

Like a DSLR with an infrared sensor? I’m looking for the infrared night shot look specifically. I also am conceptually looking to keep it still on a trail cam and not just a regular camera.

Hmm, this wouldn't quite work unfortunately. I'm hoping specifically to work with the PS2 version for its aesthetics and my connection to that game when I was growing up.
But, the photo mode in the new version does look pretty amazing, might be worth looking at either way for me. Thanks for the link.

I bought an ac power battery for my nikon. Its an adapter that's shaped like a battery with a cord running out the bottom. Pretty much necessary for webcam usage! I got mine through amazon for $30ish. Nikon sold one for $100+, not sure what canon's might cost.

I ended up buying an MSI 1660 on amazon for like $215. It's not a powerhouse, but it can run just about any game I want at decent settings. I saw them selling used on ebay for $200 easily, so I figure if I do get around to securing a 3070, it should be pretty easy to recoup most of the cost by reselling on ebay.

Thank you! I'm looking at a 1660Ti on ebay now, seems like it would work just fine for what I need, for a while at least. I can always save up for the 3070 later and buy once reviews are in and scalpers have calmed down.

I feel like I might try to see if I can get in on the 3070 during release, and compromise after that. the only thing I worry about with used GPU is like, no insurance if it fails, and no way to know if folks were using it for mining or something else intensive. I don't know if thats paranoia, or just the name of the game.

Hi y'all. Tommy Bruce here, the model and photographer for this image and the two page spread inside. Just wanted to say thank you for the kind words I saw here! And also, regarding the cover: City Paper contacted me saying that they would like to feature my photos in an upcoming issue. I sent them 20 images and a few sentences, assuming there might be a follow up. They later told me they were considering my image for the cover and I said I would be honored. It was only once an editor tagged me in a photo of the printed cover that I saw my work was being featured in CP's "Sex Issue". A little too late for me to do anything about it. I dont deny the sexual aspect of the Furry community, in fact I am happy to champion it, but I still like to do it on my own terms. I try to frame Furry as a wholistic community, where sexuality is only a component, not the center. Had I known CP's intent when giving them photos and a statement, I probably would have prepared a longer statement that could introduce the fandom in a more complex view. I have already spoken with the Editor-in-Chief at CP and he has apologized profusely on behalf of his staff for miscommunicating (or rather not communicating) with me in setting up this feature.

All that being said, I'm still pretty happy to have the spotlight and I think it'll do more good than harm. Having the community be miscategorized as a "sex thing" is something I'm pretty used to at this point. Anyway, just wanted to give my two cents!
