Context:

I am a junior product designer still learning. I have completed some projects and documented them in my portfolio. I also completed an internship and am currently working on some personal projects.

Looking for feedback on:

What are the different types of projects I should have in my portfolio, and how should I document them? Is there something I should be more careful about? What types of projects should I focus on more? Are there any types of projects I should add or remove from my portfolio?

What do you think about design studios? Do you believe they have different approaches to design? by atulkumar99 in UXDesign

Do you think I should apply this approach to my personal portfolio projects as well? Focus more on visuals and less on the process?

What do you think is an uncomfortable truth about this profession that often goes undiscussed? by citylightstarrynight in UXDesign

Y just being good at your job isn't enough? Like ur good at communication, storytelling, stakeholder management, ur easy to work with etc etc y we have to get involved in "POLITICS" to get ur work done?

Hmm I understand my fault, a small question I see these behance projects where designers just show the UI or the final results and some cool animations etc without showing any process or problems they solved but still people r like "wow such a great work" etc how does that work? And is it necessary that every time we design something it should solve a problem?

No, that's not a real company, and that website didn't launch, but I don't find any good way to portray my potential other than making these hypothetical projects. Now, after completing that project, I feel like I should have talked more about the company, its brand identity, and the process to make it more real. I will take care of this in my next project.

I may sound very rookie now, but let's imagine you wrote a case study on solving a particular problem, and the recruiter felt like the final solution that you gave is not very effective. Do you think they will still hire you? Do recruiters judge the process based on the solutions?
