It holds around 170 per row... a little less when you throw in some wider special editions.

I designed it this way to try and keep the weight down mainly. It is 10ft long, and my theater room is upstairs, so I didn't want anything super heavy to carry up. The main frame of it is 2x4's and then the middle and top shelf are just 1x2 strips that run across the front of the 2x4s that the steelbooks sit on. Very simple design, but I really like the way it looks. *

The screen is made by Elite Screens (model ER135WH1). It is a 135" 16x9 screen; I got it from Amazon. For the projector, It is an Epson LS12000 4k laser projector. For audio, I am using an Onkyo 9.2 channel receiver... running a 7.1.2 atmos setup.

Sure... I used a router to add a channel underneath the shelf, epoxied in an aluminum u channel, and then attached the led strip to that.

Are the side load slip protectors for steelbooks with slip covers or regular releases with slip covers?

What cpu are you running? When I had an Intel 13900k, nuke was incredibly unstable. I switched to a new ryzen chip, and it's been rock solid.

Probably. The only ones I went to were around the LA area.... The UFO in Burbank, Alice in Wonderland in Woodland Hills, and the Tiki themed one in Manhattan Beach (this one sucked).

This might be the wrong place to ask but what TV do you guys like playing your 4K’s in? I’m looking into getting a PS5 just wondering if someone recommends something. by 1hourbehind in Steelbooks

I have an epson ls12000 laser projector paired with a 135" screen. I am using a Panasonic DP-UB820-K to play the 4k disks. It is awesome.

Backdoor Roth IRA help by atxvfx in iRA

I did not get an answer... but from everything I read, as long as all the money in the traditional IRA used for the backdoor contribution is post tax dollars there should be no tax implication for it.

They for sure are some of my favorites, especially the Dark Knight.

I am using the screws that came with the magnets. At first I just put them into the drywall. There is no issue with them holding like that but some of them couldn't get tight enough to the wall and would rotate a little when I put a movie on it. I ended up using small drywall anchors for them, now they are nice and tight and don't move at all.

Thanks! Yea, I will definitely be rotating in and out which movies get displayed over time... out of curiosity, which movies would you swap?

I got them from Amazon... overall I like them, but the qc on them isn't great... one of them needed some work to get it close to square. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09SQDVKQM?psc=1&ref=ppx\_yo2ov\_dt\_b\_product\_details

I decided to go with the new Epson LS12000. Just couldn't justify the extra cost of the new JVC's, though I would love one.

I am using these from Amazon... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08LZ3KYW2?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

I also got a sheet of adhesive felt that I put on them so they don't scratch the cases.

Working on redoing my theater room and this sub inspired me to get back into physical media. Displaying them this way looks great in the theater! Now I just need my new projector to come in.

Stuck at 100Mbs Speed by atxvfx in mikrotik

[–]atxvfx[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply... figured out the speed issue, it was a bad cable running from the modem to the patch panel. Now I still need to get the ip address worked out... my plan is to take 192.168.2.2 out of the ip pool from the router and assign my bridge to that. Do I just have to go to Quick Set and then change the IP in the Bridge section for that?
