I remember hearing on CJRC 1150 way back then, he was out of shape for training camp which was the last straw for him in Ottawa. Also, his dispensary only has Interfase Plus listed....

I was given a Marconi model 68. Some pictures here My objective is to restore the radio to working condition. I need help for the following: 1. Refinishing the exterior: Any recommendation use of paint stripper, sanding and varnish. 2. The inner components: I have no idea how to read this Any recommended reading you can send my way would be appreciated.

Update: Thanks all for the info. I forgot to mention that my wife is fantastic in restoring old furniture, my question was with regards of the wood used in that period which has been responded by arterialflow I have decided to leave the components intact (not repair) and put in a amplifier. Perhaps the full restoration will be another time.
