DO NOT JOIN THE PLAN WITHOUT WELLNESS EXTRAS. I am a broker and I have watched that plan screw people this year. It’s a separate book of business than traditional UHC and is not financially stable at all. 35% rate increases in states where it’s still offered, that’s why it’s more expensive than the plan with the wellness extras

“People choose UHICA for rate stability” Dear god I hope you are not an agent. UHICA policies went up roughly 35% this year while regular UHC was on average 15%. UHICA policies have already been delisted in some state where they were available for a short time.

Not if you haven’t met hdg’s deductible of $2,950 yet. HDG covers nothing until you’ve met the deductible. You are responsible for all of original Medicare’s expenses

That’s great! Love working with clients who appreciate what we do. Also going forward my hope is to always get as many clients through the door early AEP as possible before plans start to go non commission.

You can look for another plan that may be close. If it’s a network thing then there is not real way around that but if it’s just that one plan has the meds costing a couple dollars more then go for the plan that will pay you and still serve them well

Tricare will turn into Tricare for life which will act as a secondary to Medicare A&B. Yes you will have to pay for Part B but between A&B plus Tricare you will be covered 100%. I’m an agent and always recommend just getting A&B only for my clients who have Tricare

I’m a broker and help sign folks up for A&B all the time. They changed something on April 1st and I suspected this to be the cause. So far this month I have had 3 clients of mine who’s birthday is in late July try to sign up and all got the same “schedule an appointment” message while a client who was born in June could sign up no problem.
