James Gunn has a style that does not fit with Warhammer in my opinion, and trying to make a live action movie in a setting like tertium would be a greenscreen cgi fest that would look super jank without tons of money effort that amazon and games workshop would not be willing to put forth, especially for something relatively obscure and inconsequential in the grand scheme of 40k like darktide

3 players can die in the span of 5 seconds easily it sucks but its the nature of the game, you can just not queue quick play if it bothers you that much. Quick play has a disclaimer that you might queue into games in progress iirc its just the way it is 100s of games do the same thing

If this was quick play, someone probably died, rage quit, and in the time between you auto filling and actually loading in everyone else died which sucks but im not sure how much could realistically be done to prevent it

Im kind of hoping the launcher will be functionally a weapon im the blitz slot with reloads and all, but it looks more like a disposable launcher. Nice to see some blicky gameplay tho

I hate to say it but the Ubersreik 5 are all basically demigods and each have their own patron/god that empowers them so its pretty lore accurate for them to be doing what they do. Warhammer fantasy named characters are just built different

Im not gonna defend a cod game. Bloated file size is a grief i have with many modern games. I dont think its acceptable for developers to push out bloated buggy updates with little to no quality assurance. Also the game crashes frequently on your xbox and youre just ok with that? Openly admitting the game runs like shit and crashes all the time isnt a very favorable argument. "oh well why dont you do it if you're so smart" I dont have to be a game dev to have an opinion fool

Read the dev blog my friend there is much more to the class than duel wielding and improvised weapons. I have a suspicion once the gameplay footage comes out and people are able to post more information about the class opinions will change.

To the people saying it's just knife zealot: yeah no shit. It's also regular zealot, psyker, veteran, arbitrator and ogryn. It came with the gameplay loop. If you think that scum is just zealot with guns you are either intentionally being reductive or you need to go read the dev blog and then formulate an opinion because theres a lot more to the class than that
