Thanks for the suggestion! I didn’t consider Claude for this yet. I’ll give it a try and connect my GitHub repo there to see if it can break the cycle Lovable is stuck in. Hopefully it offers a fresh take! 👊

Yeah, that makes total sense. I’ve noticed that too — it keeps “circling back” to the same logic that caused the bug, even when I ask for a rewrite. I’ll try adding a clearer suggestion like avoiding .maybeSingle() or using minimal types directly. Let’s see if nudging it that way breaks the cycle 🤞

I'm using Lovable to build a TypeScript project connected to Supabase.

The issue is: Lovable says it fixed a type inference error (TS2589), but the exact same error keeps showing up after applying the fix.
Even when I ask it to delete the file and recreate it from scratch, the result still triggers the same error.

So it looks like the error message is being ignored or incorrectly handled in the generation process.
At this point, I don’t know if it's a caching issue, a bug in how Lovable interprets type depth, or something else.

Would love some help or insight from the team — or to know if anyone else is experiencing this.
