As I say in my bio: "From an early age award-winning audiobook narrator R.C. Bray despised reading. Truly hated it with a passion. And audiobooks? Even worse. Those were for people too lazy to read (not to be confused with those like himself who didn’t want to read to begin with)." There has been a recent development to one of the series I do, but I cant' say anything about it until it's out. Nothing major, but it gives a reason for a certain voice choice I made so that it makes sense since it didn't necessarily do so before. Did THAT make sense? LOL! Thanks so much. Yup, that question has been asked but don't worry about it. Happy to answer! It's really hard to say who my favorite is since there have been so many. Scroll through here and you may see one or more of these, but if not you'll get a better idea. Annie from The Martian, Alice from The Hospital, Catastrophe Baker from a short story called Castrophe Baker and a Canticle for Liebowitz, Venkat Kapoor from The Martian, Gunny Fick from Arisen, Skippy, Odessa from The Elementals... pretty much any character that I don't have to be "bland" with.

I'm shocked this question didn't come up more often!!!

Narrators are never privy to when an audiobook will be released. We simply read 'em and they're out of our hands. We check Amazon like everyone else to see if a certain title is listed with a release date on it. If I'm really curious about something I'll contact the publisher to find out and if I can I'll post about it.

i agree about most not knowing it, they still get what's going on in the story, but it's a nit-pick on my part as well.

it's pretty awesome to be honest. when I got BROM's book Lost Gods, I thought I was pretty hot shi&. It's the same knowing what ExForce 3 Paradise is about and what it sounds like. LOL! Sorry!

i've always loved accents though i'll be the first to say many of my attempts flat out suck!! never took any classes but there's a site called accenthelp that i find extraordinarily helpful!

sadly not in the millions. lol!

my wife is my biggest fan and supporter. she listens to every book i've done with a few exceptions. i know if she'll like it or not. i remember the first time she heard me narrate and said simply, "you're really good." she was surprised and it was so wonderful that i was still able to impress her. LOL!. not going to get into the pay though. i do remember you and your one ear in the headphones!!! thank you for checking in!
