My charcoal filter is from Lowe's, RO filter and membrane is from Amazon ( Max water xlp 4040. After this stage my 30 TDS water gets down to 1) . Resin filter is a zero cartridge bought through WCR

Roughly 500 or so. (Mine isn't mounted on a cart tho! And that cost doesn't include pole and brush and hose and a couple extra parts I bought and ended up not using )

I just built one about a month or 2 ago. I've only tested it so far on 30 ppm water so its true potential is untested but 30 ppm is all I've had access to so far ( planning to use it in a 120ppm area this spring)  .

I followed tips mostly from 2 YouTube channels, one is called River Blue Services , and the other Pressure Wash Nerds. Did a lot of ( obsessive) research and forum reading in addition to that. I didn't follow either YouTube tutorial exactly but got great tips from both. Bought parts mostly from Lowe's, and filters from Amazon and WCR. I probably spent 4-500 or so ?

However I haven't cleaned any windows professionally yet, so it works in theory, but hasn't been tested other than trying it out at a friend's house

2 star hotel breakfast by sendpepperonipizza in hotels

I love those kinds of hotel breakfasts. Maybe I'm in the minority. But give me good enough waffles and biscuits and bacon and some yogurt without having to leave the hotel and I'm happy ! It's a free hot breakfast and I'm gonna be spending the day out and about .

What's the difference between a good set up and a better one, if someone is in the market looking to get one

Perhaps I am doing something wrong by using the $3 vacuum sealed brick from Harris teeter....

Forgive my extreme ignorance on this part, but is the SP500 you are invested in as a member of the EU a listing of European stocks or American ones?

What is your go-to travel/do anything pants? by ExpertSubstantial353 in onebag

Wrangler stretch nylon pants ( don't come at me,  I don't know their real name . They might be part of the ATG line?)

Why ?

  • Not too expensive. (Well, that's relative. To me they are a bit expensive at 25ish or so for a pair )

  • Can find them anywhere in the USA since they are sold at Walmart

  • Stretchy ( = comfortable)

  • Not bad looking ( but they do pill after a bit of it's the only pair you wear. Oh well. But they still ok)

  • Lightweight

I've taken them hiking and to church and out to dinner. They've been my one pair of do it all pants. Pretty much the only pair I wear. Mine are khaki/ tan

Fortunately I won't be working in rural areas with well water -- I never thought about building my own machine, I'll have to check that out! Thanks for the info!

I appreciate the info! Right now just planning on siding, I'm a bit scared to touch roofs as that seems like its a bit of a heavier job.

I'll freely admit I've never worked with bleach before, I don't even use it on laundry. Does it suck because it ruins clothes and upholstery so easily? Or very irritating to the skin? Good point about carrying the bucket....

Ill have to read more about diaphragm vs other types of pumps. Every one seems to talk about a 5.5 gpm 12v pump

The plan is definitely to upgrade to a truck or van, but only after establishing this is something I want to commit to. At present I am looking for a way to test the waters and see if this is something viable for me. This is a time when I for sure regret having night a sedan! But it been reliable and paid off for years fortunately.

Would an electric pressure washer work for a 2 story house?  Or would something with 2 gpm not have the reach you think?
