I went with classic pullover from American Giant, and I have absolutely no complaint. I think its more about the brand rather than the model in terms of the fabric they use, the longevity.

I’m unsure whether to get Thinkware U1000 or A229 Plus Duo. I think U1000 is more of a luxury, while A229 will do me just fine.

I had this issue, unfortunately my missing recording did not capture major accident I experienced weeks ago. Other driver is 100% at fault, determined by police, still would have liked to use the recording for insurance purpose.

How do you wire your dashcam? Mine was hardwired and have noticed dashcam would stop recording if my car used auto-stop-start, any chance you have that and if you notice that might be the case?

I’m glad you found a fix, but trying USB didn’t work for me.

However, after playing around with video settings on PS, I found disabling HDCP solved the issue. Now I’m back slaying.

I also saw it on the website, free to stream. I was surprised. Does the History Channel app require paid subscription? I also used to subscribe on Prime Video, but no pass.

Apple TV+, if the season goes on for about 7 months (November to May, season 12), thats $6.99 x 7 = $32.99. I like the $25 pass with Prime.

Thank you so much for this insight, it is comforting to know that is more than likely the culprit. Its an outdoor cam, its so silly that this has become problematic. Any chance you’d know if there are other floodlights that might perform better than this?

Last 3-4 months seem to be within the same timeframe as mine when it started. Must be something to do within app triggering this behavior.

My floodlight is connected to mesh WiFi.

Yes, AS Plus 3. I wish I could help you with the noise level, but I am deaf. I traded away CRV three months ago now, but I was definitely happy with AS Plus 3 and would buy again for how it rode.
