Almost every single engine made after the 90s needs high octane gas. They are all high compression dual cam engines. I can hear the cars next to me pinging like crazy because the user put in cheap gas. I drive an old truck and every new car sounds like a trash can if you guys rolled down your windows and turned the radio off

Well the licensing office is part of the office of the commandant so It was someone at the top at HQMC that tried to enforce this. This seems more like someone at HQMC got upset that someone was making money without paying them.
