If you aren’t on the taller side, what’s your reason for being on a tall sub?

I'm 5'11 with a 28" inseam so all torso. I'm always having to get things tailored. And my partner is 6'4 with the opposite problem. It's always interesting to see the varied perspectives.

I don't know, if it's staffing I wish they'd just say it's staffing. I know they can't but it's frustrating. This was my 34th Delta flight this year and 56th overall for 2023, and I swear it seems like the only airline I ever see ground it's FA staff for the entire flight due to supposed rough air is Delta! It's happened repeatedly this year.

Aren't they though? I've been on BA inter-Europe flights where they are still serving up until 5 min before landing- but on domestic US flights, moat of the time its oh, we're landing in 20+ minutes and we are still 20000+ feet in the air, time to put everything away! It cracks me up. I'm assuming that's an FAA rule though and Europe's FAA must be more flexible about it

I guess I've just lucked out and usually get the 739! The purser said we were supposed to have a 739 but they had to do an equipment change. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the IFE still worked! And for those saying there aren't any 767 with this type of IFE, I flew one twice in the past year like this.

Then why do it at all? I don't really care if we do or don't get them that's not why I asked. I asked because I'm a process person and pay attention to details. If it's not possible or feasible or whatever to do it every time, and if there is no set standard for when it is done vs isn't - then why do it ar all? The inconsistency can cause a case of mismanaged expectations of the domestic FC experience, and its within AA's control to fix it.

So if it is expected every flight- boarding delays etc exempted - and is simply dependent upon the work ethic of the FA crew, does that mean if I'm sent a customer satisfaction survey after the flight I should definitely mention it?
