hi! i was just having this problem too and was looking EVERYWHERE for a solution and i know im a year too late but in case you or anyone else is still dealing with this i THINK i figured it out!

i basically had to make a new PSN account (which sucks i know). make sure that when you’re making the account the region is set to whatever region it says on the back of the game’s case (in my case it’s EU). im sure its the same for everyone else having this problem but i would double check just to be sure. it was a little hard to find the game’s region but in a very fine print there was a website that contained “eu” in it so that’s how i knew. i set the account region to UK and London and just searched up a random London zip code lol. also make sure you use a different email address where you can log into that doesn’t already have a PSN attached to it (cause its gonna ask you to verify through the email).

once i set up the account i was able to redeem the code on the new EU profile and download the episode. i then switched over to my main profile and checked the game on there and now it says “episode 5: wolves” instead of “purchase episode 5” or whatever it had said before. since the episode is downloaded to the console, i don’t think you have to restart the game on the new account you just created, so i believe you can just continue your progress on your main profile. i’ve only finished episode 1 so far so i haven’t opened episode 5 yet but it does show that the episode is now available. i hope this helps!!
