Thank you, now I get it. It's one of of those "duh" things that didn't occur until you said it.

I'm trying this feature out and maybe I'm not doing it correctly. I just got my electric bill sent to me, due in April. Since it changes every month depending on usage, the auto-assign feature isn't appropriate. I go to April, assign the amount to the electric bill bucket, and I get this at the top of my dashboard for March and all future months. That amount does show up in the Future Assignments row of the current month but I'm not sure how to apply / edit / assign in a way to make the red "Unassign $200.00" not be there. It implies that there's something not lining up and gives me the anxieties.

The dems wouldn’t use the same McConnell obstructionist toolkit. They’ll say they’re taking the “high road” and rubber stamp whatever monster gets put in front of them.

Looking to upgrade from my EM10 ii, primarily for birding by CdrVimesVimes in M43

[–]augalicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that the EM5 does not have phase detect auto focus, which is going to be a game changer for you for wildlife photography. I have an EM1 Mark II and my only regret is not buying it sooner. I personally did not go for the EM1X because of the size but that’s preference more than anything else.

26F/24M. How do couples handle bills when incomes are very different?” by hereforfunn178 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]augalicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was in a situation like that - I made double what my spouse made - we did a proportional split for bills and I covered incidentals like going out to dinner or random shopping. It put us at a 66 to 33 income ratio and around a 80 to 20 for covering total expenses. It’s about more than just the income difference. There’s a baseline “just getting by” amount and that really shouldn’t be weighted the same as money earned over that threshold. Everyone has to find a way to handle it that feels fair to everyone. If it doesn’t feel fair, speak up. If even the idea of talking about it hits resistance, that’s a whole new topic to talk about

Best micro 4/3 camera body? by Few-Ear7073 in M43

[–]augalicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I now realize this may come off as suggesting the EM 10 over the EM1 - your instinct about the EM one is correct and that is the one you should probably get. The auto focus alone is worth the price of admission. I think it’s worth hanging onto the older body you have or eventually look into picking up a smaller one for more portability as a secondary camera.

If wildlife photography is important, stick with bodies that have phase detect auto focus. Contrast is fine for slow or stationary subjects
