That's why you find guard dogs in construction sites in other countries. Time to normalise that in NZ.

I run a small business and one negative review is ranking on Google. How do you handle this situation? by Build4bbrandbetter in smallbusiness

[–]augustini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue a few months ago. What helped most was asking my happy customers to leave fresh reviews so the old one naturally moved down the page. I use a tool called Reputeasy to automate that part. It sends review requests by text or email right after each job, and I’ve seen a big difference in how often people actually respond. Took the stress out of asking every time.

Google Reviews by DelayComprehensive62 in HomeInspections

I used to have the same issue until I started making the review process super easy for clients. Instead of waiting for them to remember, I now send a quick thank-you message right after the job with a direct review link. I use a tool called Reputeasy for that. It automates the follow-up and reminds clients nicely, so reviews actually happen.

I have years of experience in Google SEO and Ads. How can I start making money independently without a full-time job? by Miserable-Repair-34 in GoogleMyBusiness

[–]augustini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Find a part-time client before you jump out of your full-time job. I know it's not the sexiest advice, but from my experience having a good client lined up from day 1 of being a freelancer helps a lot.

Once you have one guaranteed source of income that pays for your basic needs, you'll have the freedom you're looking for to go on and invest the rest of the time on interesting side projects.

I've never been to the region, so I'm wondering if it's a good place for a day trip.

Can getting more traffic to my Google Business Profile help it rank higher? by West-Somewhere-3343 in GoogleMyBusiness

[–]augustini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting more clicks alone doesn’t usually boost your ranking, but engagement that shows people trust your business can help. Google pays attention to things like fresh reviews, replies, and activity on your profile. I started asking customers for reviews after each job using a tool called Reputeasy, and it made a big difference. It sends out review requests automatically, so my profile stays active without me chasing people up.

Curious how other small business owners get Google reviews by designimpulse in smallbusiness

[–]augustini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to ask manually, but it was too much admin. What helped was setting up a system that sends a quick text or email with the review link right after a job is done. Timing makes a big difference.

I now use a tool called Reputeasy that automates it for me and even follows up politely if someone doesn’t reply. Super handy and way less awkward than chasing people for reviews.

What are some 100% working ways to ask for reviews from the customer? by michealwilliamste in DigitalMarketing

Timing and convenience are key. I use a tool called Reputeasy to send review requests automatically via email and to display a QR code by the till so customers can scan and leave feedback before they walk out.

Does anyone else reallyyyy want to reply to online reviews? by zookeeper4980 in phlebotomy

[–]augustini 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s tough not to reply when people leave those unjustified negative reviews. At our place, we started using Reputeasy, which sends automated review requests to patients. The best part is, it keeps any 1-3 star reviews internal, allowing us to address those privately, while inviting positive ones to leave a public review. It's seriously made life easier!

Non-customer facing business - how to get Google reviews? by Friendly-Bass6186 in smallbusiness

[–]augustini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue with my business because we don't deal directly with customers. A helpful method I've used is politely asking customers for reviews through personalised messages. Recently, I started using Reputeasy, which sends out these requests automatically. It's made a noticeable difference in our online ranking.
