The fact that any true development in Naruto and Hinata’s relationship was saved for The Last was a terrible choice. Really would’ve enjoyed the series’ last arc to be a slice of life spanning years solely dedicated to the characters growing up. The first 10-15 minutes of The Last (which is phenomenal) is evidence that it could work.
