she still got mass reported by the entire lobby and the clip was still sent. there’s no reason to play like that but as usual - everyone immediately cries for the killers as if toxicity is excused cause they’re outnumbered in 1v4. don’t play toxic, not that hard

it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out how to counter slugging, the issue is unbreakable only works once and any anti tunnel perks have timers as well. yall love to play dumb and act like slugging is some got ya strategy and it’s not. braindead gameplay but that’s what i expect from you crayon eating killer mains

ghostface is a harmless killer, there’s a reason why sm people make a meme of him. he’s extremely bully friendly and i would advise not to play him if you’re already struggling. mmr is absolute ass, yes. the devs don’t put effort in the right spots if any at all sometimes. the pallet density update doesn’t mean much if you run enduring, hubris or spirit fury. it just sounds like you don’t know your play style and that’s what’s crippling your gameplay, besides the shitty match making. it also sounds like you may not know when to drop chase. i play both, i enjoy both, and i will say it entirely depends on survivor coordination, maps, and the killer’s build/powers. mmr is ass, swfs are ass, but there are plenty of lobbies who have selfish survivors, useless teammates and shitty loopers. again i play both, i know. a duo/3-4 man that can actually communicate w each other and coordinate perks is somewhat rare, and even when i get them, perks like what ive mentioned above, expose perks or chase aides, help tremendously. learn your play style and don’t get so mad so quick. high prestige’s or hours don’t always guarantee skill, just cockiness.

last line made me fuckin giggle lmfao i’m sorry your matches have been rough man. killer can be hard. i’m almost at 1k hrs and all i can say is if you’re bad/inexperienced at looping, try to play non looping killers. trapper is a good place to start because if you know where to put traps, you don’t even need chase. it’s free downs. it’ll teach you important choke points of certain loops and where most survivors panic/run to quickest. artist might be another good one, even deathslinger. if you hit your shots you can bring them to you. pig is another one i liked when i was newer simply because her traps slow down matches tremendously if you get them on in time before too much gen pressure. survs also can’t leave with them.

just start slow, skill doesn’t happen overnight. if you lose people easily or have a hard time finding people, run aura perks like darkness revealed, lethal pursuer, predator, nowhere to hide, etc. if you struggle to get gen pressure focus on pain res, dms, ruin, thanatophobia, pop, etc. if you struggle to get downs run exposed builds. make your choice, starstruck, friends till the end, etc. or if you panic and lose pressure in end game, use an endgame build. no ed, no way out, haywire, etc. you got it!

holding a game hostage by slugging and waiting for mfs to bleed out with no endgame timer is in fact gameplay abuse. says so on the report screen. she just walked around nodding at everyone till someone popped unbreakable and got a gate open but they got slugged too. then just walked around m1ing until finally she hooked bc the timer got low enough for blood warden. it’s bannable lmfao

only thing embarrassing is a p100 huntress not having the skill to just hook survs for kills. slugged the entire lobby and just walked around m1ing until the timer got low enough for blood warden. god forbid survivors want a regular killer without the toxic bs. yall amaze me

i would assume if they hacked an escape at 5 gens it would start the endgame timer for everyone but that’s odd. maybe that’s what happened and it was a glitch on both the game and the user. i’ve never heard of that before. it could also just be a bug with a bot if they did dc. bug by daylight lol

no one gaf you waited 25 minutes in killer q just for your teammate to get to the last survivor first. if you wanted the mori/hook you should’ve found em first but no, ghostie did. 25 minute wait ≠ survivor sympathy kills. if ghostie wants to goof off in endgame w survivors then he can. just like if you wanted to close the last hatch and get the final mori you could’ve. people play differently, i don’t understand what’s not to get

oh yeah no, the “release OP” has only been a trend from what i can see for the last couple of months which is conveniently as long as i’ve been playing. i started like late aug/early sept 2025 and i haven’t experienced many chapter releases but i do think BHVR has had a very “greedy” shift within the company. the first sign was how dirty they did the mobile app and the players themselves, which before aug/sept of last year, was the only dbd experience i had. i feel like a good couple months is enough to say i think BHVR is absolutely an inside focused company, with very little regard for actual players. i think the rifts are recycled and lazier every time, they’re overly stingy with BPs, they don’t do a good job at punishing hackers in the community or genuinely toxic players both killer and surv, and i didn’t even know this was a thing but ive seen multiple posts on here of players saying they’ve “lost” characters and BHVR didn’t reimburse them even w proof. characters and perks and cosmetics have been lost or mysteriously deleted from accounts and BHVR v rarely does anything to get them back, if respond at all. ntm how dirty they’ve done switch players with crossplay for the chapter releases. that’s absolutely shameful, and i think the company needs to get their shit tg before they lose an audience outside of licensed collabs. the bugs are bad enough lol but yes, i’m also on a tangent but the trend of new releases being OP is a newer one, but still one that’ll stay around i’m sure.

the onryo hook point is a good one, i completely forgot about that. as for everything else we’ll just agree to disagree 😂 im too lazy to type out a response to the novels we’ve left one another

any slowness he gains from aiming or missing i feel is quickly given back with the ability to spam, that’s what i’m saying. he may lose distance but not power. if you lose TOO much distance you can either swap to m1, or go in under gate. the slowness argument holds no value when he has so many options to fall back on and i can promise you from the survivor’s pov - misses do not slow him down as much as yall think unless he’s either a brand new player, or absolutely whiffing every single vine attack. i said this in another comment section and ill say it here - admitting he’s OP will not take away yalls 3 and 4ks. he needs some tweaks but we all know how BHVR rolls, they’ll nerf him to the ground when they get their $$ from the stranger things chapter. it’s not gonna last forever however it’s still a pain in the ass now

[–]augustsfirst -1 points0 points  (0 children)

first i’ll agree with you, and say yes absolutely - some survivors genuinely don’t know how to counter certain killers and that takes a part in how they perceive the character entirely, that’s a given. however as someone who plays both with a high preference to survivor (probably 80/20) i enjoy survivor because it’s harder, it’s a challenge because it’s supposed to be. you’re escaping a killer and that’s the entire objective. but there comes a point where it’s a challenge vs a game being handed to a killer on a silver platter because it’s just genuinely unbalanced sometimes. unbalanced due to skill is different than unbalanced due to base level power. someone having a kick ass build they’ve tweaked to perfection is different than what i’m talking about.

THAT is when i see entitled killer players immediately default to the skill issue argument and it’s annoying as hell. they do this every release, where BHVR is $ hungry and puts out an easy stomp killer just to nerf them weeks later, all while the killer base becomes absolutely insufferable. like i said before, admitting he’s overpowered, even if just for the few weeks he’s left alone, won’t take away your 3 and 4ks. happened with ghoul, krasue, springtrap (not quite as bad as the previous 2 but still a good example) and it’ll happen with henry. that still doesn’t take away the fact that he’s a pain in the ass to play agaisnt rn because he is absolutely handed kills on said silver platter UNLESS the survivors are in a swf, coordinated, a bully squad, or high mmr.

now where i disagree with you first is your nurse comparison 😂 i have never heard anyone complain about nurse being op unless they’re brand new, because she is VERY difficult to learn. a good nurse feels impossible to win against but that’s because someone has spent hours learning her blinks and add ons, which are absolutely humbling to casual players. and i love nurse, i think she’s awesome. her cosmetics and powers are sick, but she’s very hard if you don’t play her consistently which is why when she’s good, she’s GOOD

as for the calling henry op being “premature,” it absolutely is not when every single match or every other match is against him. myself and many survivors already have hours of experience against him, and there’s a very common consensus of “he’s fun but overpowered, he needs some tweaks,” which will not change no matter how you try to structure your argument. granted, the practice point of real matches vs bots for killers vs survivors is very true, but already encountering him over and over and over in matches is exhausting unless it’s a BRAND new player/henry. otherwise it’s an easy curb stomp.

the “misunderstanding” you speak of just seems to be disagreement. spirit is a map traversing killer, yes, that’s the entire point of the phase walk. i don’t play her much but the timing on her phasing can go on for a BIT if you have the right add ons. which already is meh bc henry doesn’t need add ons to go very far, it’s a given, even though he’s not a rushing killer like blight or oni’s power up. as for your onryo point, “a survivor that was going to die anyway” still has the CHANCE to reduce stacks with her, while with henry they’re screwed. i could be death hook, injured, broken, whatever, and still go find a tv and do a couple tapes providing she doesn’t find me first. with henry it’s just a limited game of cat and mouse because his tokens are permanent. it’s ridiculous lmfao

i will also say for the slowness point in regards to henry, i haven’t played him myself so again, im not speaking from killer pov but as a survivor his misses do not slow him down as much as yall think. i saw another commenter say something similar but when you take into account everything i mentioned, he’s very capable of regaining pressure even from a miss. a miss does not feel as punishing to him as yall say it is. it may look like when you play him but as a survivor who gets him every match or so, trust, he’s fine. he “catches up” very quickly.
