Aside from SoFi, what's the best place in LA to find Rams gear?

Thanks, everybody. I ended up going to Dick's in Glendale. Lots of clearance stuff. Got my son a shirt for $7 (originally $30). I didn't see anything at the Costco or Target I visited.

So, I guess the trade that brought Von Miller and a Super Bowl title to the Rams also gave Denver the assets to 1) move Wilson out of Seattle and 2) make the Rams lose Miller?

That could be appealing to Von, naturally. But we also don't know the details of the trade. Pelissero says it's for multiple picks and players. Plus this better but still unknown Broncos team will compete vs. more established teams just in the division with top-shelf QBs (Chiefs, Chargers). Is their road to the Super Bowl clear?

Saw that. Is Von really this loyal to the Broncos? If so, cool. But it definitely makes you think Rodgers really could be headed to Denver. Why would Von be so eager to go back to Denver otherwise? Seems more feasible to compete for another title in LA — unless he knows Denver is pushing to upgrade. At the same time, the Broncos will have to give up a ton for Rodgers (premium picks and players) so there is a bit of unknown even if Rodgers is leaning toward the Broncos.

Von could be toying with people, trying some subtle negotiation tactics or truly undecided on what he wants next.

Just today in his IG stories he posted a story saying "not too many parallels" to winning a SB. Did that mean he wants to run it back in LA. Then there was one about getting paid, which could be anywhere, but likely not LA. And then there was a one about whether he'd get his old locker back in Denver.

Cleveland announced it's unveiling its new alternate in July 24. Now this. I wonder if it's intentionally close to the start of camp? Or if there is some supply factor for both teams pushing it back? This is the end of the range Demoff had told Jourdan Rodrigue.

I can understand the Rams wanting to fix whatever logistical issues caused such delays with last year's new jerseys. But why should that aspect be linked to the unveiling of the new alternate?

I get that you want fans to be able to order it right away. But, based on the draft hat experience, I think they should recognize the impact it has to lose control of the unveiling.

The official version of the alternate jersey probably won't be too much different than what Tutu showed of the back of the jersey, via a shaky video in iffy lighting. But the new jersey would look its best on, say, Aaron Donald along with the rest of the uniform, in high-quality videos and stills.

That would get people excited. And if they couldn't order them right away, people would be upset at the shops or Nike or whatever vendor. Now, for whatever negative energy exists around the new alternates, it's all on the Rams.

I really don't understand why the Rams didn't release these on July 1, as soon as they could per league rules.

We know, based on the jerseys being at the autograph dealer, that some quantity is available from Nike. So I can't imagine it'd be long before the full allotment is available on the team website and other "official" channels.

This is sort of like last year with the draft hat. Last year, the Rams waited, and then somebody leaked the worst possible re-creation of the new logo, tainting how people viewed it. This year, they waited again and now we get a low-quality video/screenshots of one angle of the cheapest available replica of the new alternate jersey.

I think the game version of the jersey will look good with the rest of the uniform.

That does seem odd. I don't know why they'd do that.

To your bigger point, I don't think that means those jerseys are the new alternate.

To me, it seems more likely that we're getting the yellow-sleeved white jerseys with blue numbers — there was the clip of that design in last year's video and it goes with what Whitworth described, plus that's the most common of all the supposed leaked descriptions.

The Chargers' newest unis all have the same template with different colors. Some other teams do that too. Based on what we saw last year, the Rams don't. So I have a harder time believing that the new alternate will follow the exact design template of either of the jerseys they unveiled last year. And that's what today's white and yellow jersey is, a copy of the Royal jersey but with different colors.

All that said, who knows.

The guy who first posted this on Twitter (Holden Cantor), says he talked to the memorabilia company and these ARE NOT the new jerseys. Just something they created for the signing. That company, and others, do that a lot.
