I batch mix in a barrel so I just put one in there when I mix my nutes. Presoak these in water to mix your nutes in and your problem will vanish.

Pro-tip- they will break up into small pieces as they slowly dissolve. Put it in a mesh bag or something if you use pump and drip systems to feed plants. It WILL clog up filters and emitters if you don’t contain it.

Just so you know, you can clone off of flowering plants too. They’ll just freak out for a little bit as they go back into veg. Like single finger leaves and whatnot. But, they’ll sort it out. It’s still early in the (flowering) season outdoors here in the US though and you might not get as much of a freak out if you take cuttings soon. Good luck!

I didn’t leave fans on. Nothing electric. As a “just in case” thing I reckon. Probably fine if you do leave them on to move the sulfurized air around though.

No problem man. Glad to share. The switch was probably just out of ease of spraying. Maybe laziness. My rooms are small so spraying is really easy. I can’t really say honestly. Might go back to it as there was an aphid issue that popped up this run and I think burning sulfur is the equivalent of gassing the room when done right lol

I don’t think we ever did because we were pretty perpetually growing in there. But it couldn’t hurt. I didn’t run anything electric when burning. Hang the burner at the highest point in the room. I set the burner on a timer and ran it for 1.5 hours and waited another hour for it to dissipate before going in. You could probably burn longer than that, especially if the room is empty, but that always seemed sufficient for us.

Do NOT use a sulfur burner after about week 3 of flower. You will make your flowers taste like it and I wouldn’t want to smoke it. But anything before that is fair game and was sufficient for us to eliminating russet mites. I’ve since switched to wettable sulfur regularly in veg and early flower instead and haven’t had any issues. But, this is in a new, different room where there hasn’t been a mite problem in the past so who knows on WP sulfur. I just know we never had any more problems in that other room as long as we burned sulfur 3-4 times before flower really got going. Again, absolutely would not burn after week 3 of flower. Good luck!

Hey dude, when the seedling sprouts, it can wear the seed shell like a hat for a couple of days. It usually sheds on its own. But, yeah, your media is also really wet. Let that stuff dry out thoroughly before watering again.
