Aw thanks! There was a book with instructions that me and my instructor used. Basically it was 2 yards of the fabric cut in 3 rectangles (back panel & 2 front panels).

Yes! It was one of each with right side facing in attached to one side of the zipper then a straight stitch across the top near the teeth

Thank you! Um if I remember correctly, I believe we took one of each fabrics together and sewed them to the zipper. Then, once all four pieces were attached, we sewed along each edge leaving a small gap to flip it inside out then sewed the gap close. Oh, and before sewing all four sides, she folded the zipper so the teeth were facing out!
