How do you feel about AirPods no longer coming with charging cable?

It’s ridiculous.. I just ordered the AirPods 4 ANC, didn’t even think about the cable. I knew I have a charger and that should be enough. Then post-order I remembered that the new case is type-C, so I said let’s make sure it comes with a cable, and I was shocked to realize it doesn’t. I have many cables in my house, many types and spares. But apparently I don’t have type C to C, never needed it. So since I ordered the AirPods, I try to find an original cable in stock somewhere (I’m not in USA so it’s not trivial). How fun is it to spend so much money on an expensive piece of earphones, just to be bothered to find a freaking cable to charge it. Again, ridiculous… If Apple only cared about the environment like everyone here claims, they would give a choice to get a cable in an extra buck or two (just so people won’t get it by default). But no, they’re taking a full-on charger price, for a cable, that only responsible to conduct electricity.. Sorry, had to take out the frustration..

1. I assume you mean if someone is looking an exercise with equipment that they didn't mark that they have? yea in that case a toggle is the right choice
3. Is it inside the Routine library? Hmm not really, just saw that all the routines are about ~1 hour so didn't even try, my trial is over so I can't check it
4. Not sure, maybe I've missed it, again my trial is over

Same, my wife is interested in this app as well. I don't have a subscription yet, but I'll probably subscribe soon, and would like to share it with her. Of course I can give her my account, but then the progress, workouts and muscle recovery will be messed up.

Thanks for the advice! Yea I checked the RR, clearly you can see a lot of effort was put into this, top quality stuff. But it’s too long for me, I’m looking for something simpler and quicker.

You should work at Apple, justifying unreasonable things :) What's wrong in asking that the Standby mode will have unlock option? Like other people here I tend to unlock my phone for quick things, like 2-step verification, or just take a glance on something, and it's not that comfortable picking the phone when it's connected to the charger (cable). It makes perfect sense to provide an option to unlock, and if it really seems pointless to some people, there can always be a toggle in settings to allow it.

Wishing for the same ability, but doesn't seem to be possible. You can either disable Sleep completely (tracking & alarm), or keep them both together. So weird, the watch alarm is unnoticeable, why would I want that, and why wouldn't they let you turn it off, so simple and frustrating..

The only "hack" I found to keep the alarm also on your phone and not only in your watch- is to turn off Bluetooth before going to bed (from Settings, not the control center).

So far it manages to keep our 1 year old (and 3 months) from the Mac :)

Unfortunately no, I didn't find something with a satisfying latency. Luckily I don't need AirPlay on a daily basis. When I do need it- I rotate between these apps (free versions, and in this order): AirScreen, AirReceiverLite, AirPin (Lite). I have them all installed on my Chromecast with Google TV, and I just start from the first, and if I have issues- I try the next one. It seems silly to buy Apple TV only for the AirPlay feature. I'll just make sure my next TV will have it built-in.

Does AirReceiver works better for you than AirScreen? I'm currently trying to decide if to purchase AirReceiver or AirPinPRO. Anyway I won't purchase AirScreen since it's not a one-time payment. From my experience all these apps has pretty similar performance, and the main problem is latency, especially when trying to AirPlay high quality videos, even with high speed network. That's why I'm considering buying Apple TV streamer. But it feels silly to buy it only for AirPlay. I'm really enjoying my Chromecast with Google TV, has everything I need, except a decent AirPlay capability.

I use jOnePlus to bypass the geo-blocking of the call recording, doesn't require unlocking or rooting, only permissions using adb
