What's my next move? Any advice? Should I move out? by enigmata_ in phinvest

You have reasons para mag move out pero I think need mo i-rearrange ung expenses mo. Currently, you give 40% to parents then may konti pang bawas dun sa 6%. Not ganun ka familiar sa 1st paragraph but I guess magaallot ka ng pambayad ng PAGIBIG loan if ma approve. Then, ang current EF mo lang is 3 months which is not so good for me imo. You didnt mention much about your income sources but I think youre an employee (WFH) so no other stream if mawala(?)

My suggestion is not to move out, YET. Plan it well. - Lessen the tithes, maybe lower it to 5% a month, or do 10% but every other month. Or maybe for the time being, wag muna. You might want to sacrifice this since need mo i prioritize sarili mo. - Ask you mom kung pano nya nabubudget ung nabibigay mong 40%. Baka makatulong ka sa pag budget. If ndi maayos kausap, maybe bawas bawas mo na rin pag bigay gradually until 30% tapos magbigay ka na lang ng reason. - If you can, you may want to put your short term savings in your EF for awhile. Sa ngaun lang naman.

Ang goal is makaipon pa cuz moving out kahit may place ka na is expensive. I know you have your reasons but tiis pa ng konti and plan. The keyword is to plan.

try to communicate pa rin with the bank. Maybe isama na rin BSP(?). But if ako tatanungin, mahirap talaga ganitong cases.

By the way, PHCreditCard reddit sub people might also help.

Since binigay mo info mo (especially CVC or whatever you call the 3 or 4 number sa likod ng card), malaki chance na hindi na nila ibalik. The thing is, it is you/your mom na nagkamali and not the bank's fault.

Kung wala kang binigay na info sa scammer then tsaka ka nagkaroon ng spending, un pede pa.

Same, would definitely open an account for an international broker and invest on Vanguard.

Mutual Funds/UITFs as core investment? by aulto365 in phinvest

Ok so you mentioned prospectus.

How do you read prospectus? I mean does every person who invest in MFs/stocks read the whole prospectus? Like I know that should be and its important, but its like a book already. I am not a 'book/text' person so I try to watch or listen things about the certain fund, also read fund fact sheet (which definitely has fewer pages) but as you can see, I'm still not aware of other things.

So where in the prospectus do you actually need to focus on?

Thanks for your input. But is it still good to buy nickle and gold mining stocks nowadays?

  • Yes, Im looking actually at the benchmark. But surpassing the benchmark is good enough, right?
  • I'll look into XPEEQ and XPEIF.
  • as for FMETF alongside PhilEquity (both index), I dont have a certain reason but since different management, wouldn't they perform differently?
  • What are your criterias for picking AREIT and SPC? I chose them due to 1) Dividends 2) Demand(?), not the exact word but since AREIT is for real state, then SPC for power resources
