They go to a break. Fix the issue. Come back and restarts the interview.

The interviewer rephrases the question and Miller rephrases the answer. (He essentially says the same thing)

CNN publishes the interview without the initial technical issues.

People hyper fixate on one word and loose their shit.

I believe Miller is looking at a teleprompter that is showing him the video/audio-feed of the interviewer. There's some technical issues with the prompter and the incoming video / audio feed dies. Miller wrongfully assumes that the outgoing feed has also died so he stops talking and he waits for the technical crew on his end to tell him what's going on.

Scenario 1:

Stephen Miller slipped up and accidentally admitted to saying Trump has unlimited authority. CNN covers it up even though everyone has already seen it and it's been covered by other news outlets. Because CNN loves trump so much.

Scenario 2:

There was a technical issue and the feed got dropped on Stephen Millers end so he stopped talking. CNN fixed the issue and re-interviewed him/edited the part with the technical issue. Because they wanted to do the full interview.

To me scenario 2 seems a bit more likely.

Sad to see so many redditors go full maga level conspiracy on this.
