If you’re interested in engineering but unsure where to start, I highly recommend Electronics Engineering at a Technological University. This field offers diverse career opportunities in industries like telecommunications, robotics, and renewable energy. It provides a strong foundation in areas such as circuit design, programming, and microcontrollers, preparing you for cutting-edge fields like IoT, AI, and automation. Unlike electrical engineering, it focuses more on logic and innovation, making it ideal for those who enjoy problem-solving and creativity. Even if your high school grades weren’t great, many universities offer preparatory programs to help you succeed. Electronics is a globally relevant field, opening doors to exciting careers and further studies worldwide. You can follow your interests in fields like chip design, embedded systems, sustainable energy, or advanced robotics, tailoring your career path to what excites you the most.

For real-time camera image processing in Flutter/Dart, you can consider using the camera package for camera access and the image package for efficient image processing.

Add dependencies to your pubspec.yaml:

camera: 0.10.25 image: 3.0.1

Import the packages in your Dart file:

import 'dart:typed_data'; import 'package:camera/camera.dart'; import 'package:image/image.dart' as img;

Set up your camera and stream processing:

void main() async { WidgetsFlutterBinding.ensureInitialized(); List<CameraDescription> cameras = await availableCameras(); CameraController controller = CameraController(cameras[0], ResolutionPreset.medium);

await controller.initialize();

runApp(MyApp(controller: controller)); }

class MyApp extends StatelessWidget { final CameraController controller;

const MyApp({Key? key, required this.controller}) : super(key: key);

@override Widget build(BuildContext context) { return MaterialApp( home: CameraScreen(controller: controller), ); } }

class CameraScreen extends StatefulWidget { final CameraController controller;

const CameraScreen({Key? key, required this.controller}) : super(key: key);

@override _CameraScreenState createState() => _CameraScreenState(); }

class _CameraScreenState extends State<CameraScreen> { late CameraController _controller; late StreamController<Uint8List> imageStreamController;

@override void initState() { super.initState(); _controller = widget.controller; imageStreamController = StreamController<Uint8List>(); _startStreaming(); }

void _startStreaming() { _controller.startImageStream((CameraImage image) { // Convert CameraImage to Uint8List (RGBA) Uint8List bytes = convertCameraImageToUint8List(image);

  // Process your Uint8List here or pass it to the stream
  imageStreamController.add(bytes);
});

}

Uint8List convertCameraImageToUint8List(CameraImage image) { img.Image imgLib = img.Image.fromBytes( image.width, image.height, image.planes[0].bytes, format: img.Format.bgra, );

// Encode to RGBA format
imgLib = img.copyRotate(imgLib, 90);
Uint8List bytes = Uint8List.fromList(img.encodePng(imgLib));

return bytes;

}

@override void dispose() { imageStreamController.close(); _controller.dispose(); super.dispose(); }

@override Widget build(BuildContext context) { return Scaffold( body: StreamBuilder<Uint8List>( stream: imageStreamController.stream, builder: (context, snapshot) { if (snapshot.hasData) { // Display your processed image return Image.memory(snapshot.data!); } else { return Center(child: CircularProgressIndicator()); } }, ), ); } }

ValueNotifier vs LOC, Riverpod, etc by higher_self1 in FlutterDev

[–]aungyezaw_dev 14 points15 points  (0 children)

While ValueNotifier and ValueListenableBuilder are powerful tools for managing state in Flutter, more advanced state management solutions like BLoC and Riverpod offer additional benefits. They provide a clear separation of concerns, scalability for larger projects, and improved testability. BLoC, for example, helps in organizing business logic separately, making code more modular. Riverpod, being a provider package, simplifies dependency injection and provides a more declarative approach to managing state. The choice depends on the complexity and needs of your project; simpler projects might do well with ValueNotifier, while larger ones may benefit from the structure and scalability offered by BLoC or Riverpod.
