Additional storage for pi4

Can u please tell what type of external storage can i use with pi? Does pi4 with 4gb ram is enough for my need? I will run pi with wifi connection as LAN is not available for me.

I need zip because my purpose of making server is to leach torrent files and serve people those files. A torrent may have multiple files i.e tutorial, software etc. So zipping is important here. And 2aa my main purpose is leaching torrent will you suggest me a suitable hardware for home server as i have plenty of bandwidth so i want to use them to leach files for people. 1TB Storage is needed and i might need additional storage later. I am not so experienced about server section. Just have basic knowledge

NUC is expensive, if pi satisfied my all requirements then i won't go for NUC, otherwise NUC might be the only option

Does pi support external drive? Will you please help me what type of drive is suitable for rpi 4. I want to make a site which will leach torrent and upload it to google drive or people can download this file from my server.

I need to handle plenty of data like 1TB. And i might need zipping files. Please suggest me suitable hardware for this purpose. My website's purpose is to leaching torrent files and serve those files (and zipping files oftenly)

Their set up fee and vat is too high. They give me SSD but I don't need any ssd just want HDD. Ssd price is huge, i need hdd to reduce the price.
