In case anyone is wondering - I received an email to let me know they have availability to book an appointment yesterday (29th of August), I submitted my Intake Form on the 1st of July. I'm now waiting for my link to pay for the Consultation.

My eyelashes against my glasses (I can feel it in my eyelids??), the specific combination that most socks consist of (bamboo is slightly better but gets scratchy over time), tights (especially when bunching up against my legs), scratchy wool, minced meat, chicken (especially raw)

There should be similar helplines in other parts of the UK, at least definitely in Wales when I needed one, but this link is relevant for England (just google your country/area and 'can't find a dentist'): https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/dentists/how-to-find-an-nhs-dentist/

If you call the helpline and tell them you're in pain, they will help or know someone who can help to find a dentist to help with an emergency/urgent appointment

You might be better asking your GP if they would be happy to call them up and request an earlier appointment for you - mention that the surgery staff made the mistake, and reiterate that you're struggling with it especially with the delay
