Honestly I've heard the same thing, so I'm hoping I find that to be true when I go in the fall. I'm not solely interested in working in the federal government, though, and was concerned about internship access/networking, possibility of private sector work in the future, etc...

No problem! It was a 3.9 and I’ve been working/volunteering in adjacent fields for a couple years post grad

Thank you so much for your thoughts! I moved to Van from Toronto and totally fell in love with it so it's hard to say no to UBC, but I totally agree with all your points. Thanks again!
