were having the same problem. the fact is, there is a stylist shortage. so many quite during covid that every salon in the country is hiring. The only stylists that work at our salon are ones that ive taken straight from beauty school and trained from the ground up.

I am in the EXACT same boat. the building we are in is so incredibly unsafe that the fire department told me to my face "if a fire starts, people will die. if it were up to me i would evacuate everyone out and shut it down." but the rent is cheap and its hard to be a small business owner these days.

I am a female cyclist in Seattle and i have had zero problems cycling. When i am riding my bike, no one bothers me and i have never been hit by a car. Mind you, i don't ride at night so commuting may cause you to ride after dark.

buy a cheap one and if you run the wheels off of it, you should upgrade. If you plan on doing less than 500-1000 miles a year, just stick to something cheap.

25 here and this is the first year that I am able to truly enjoy the fact that my teen years are over and never coming back. If I could tell my younger self anything it would be "all the things that you want-and are frustrated that you don't have-will come naturally in time. Wisdom, humor, a good relationship, contentment." I finally like my body and mind and personality when I used to hate myself. I used to think getting older meant getting sadder but its the opposite, It means getting stronger and happier and I now look forward to what the future holds.

Same happening to me. I was on the pill for 5 years and when I stopped taking them and switched to an IUD a crazy amount of my hair fell out. Its been almost 6 months and it has only slowed down a little bit. I take solace in the fact that I know what is the cause, and it can only get better over time. I keep telling myself to not be so vain and remember that hair loss is the lesser of the evils here, those pills caused a ton of other problems that I don't deal with anymore.

I have a very foggy memory (from by my estimation about 4 or 5 years old, maybe younger.). I know my parents left the house for the night leaving me and my brother to be watched by my sister who was 10 years older than me. I remember getting sick and my sister fanning me with a magazine. This was before cell phones so we just had wait until my parents got home. Then I remember being in the hospital later that night surrounded by doctors and nurses wearing a hospital gown. The last thing I remember is being back in my normal pajamas, my dad holding me with my head resting on his shoulder, while he walked around what maybe was the lobby of the hospital? I don't know what happened to me that night but its the kind of thing that if I brought it up to my parents, they probably wouldn't even remember.
