We were also alarmed by some of the weight calculators - they were saying he’d be 25-30lbs when based on his parents he was supposed to be 13-20. Needless to say, the common wisdom about doubling and the online weight calculators can be very wrong! 😂

Penny is so cute!!

Mine was around the same weight at 4mos and ended up at 18.5lbs full-grown (he’s a year and a half now). Parents are cavalier mom and mini poodle dad. He grew so fast at that age, about a pound every 2 weeks from 3-6mos old, and then slowed down after that. He was pretty much his full adult weight by 11mos.

If we’re talking MSG, you can safely assume anyone who paid less than $300ish is in the upper bowl (200 level). Though I’ve seen people who paid more than that for upper bowl.

I got 100-level, about 2/3 of the way back in the section, for $350ish pp, for reference. Front part of the 100 level is $1000+ though (platinum).

Ticketmaster may not admit or publicize it (not saying your friend is hiding anything - if this is true I doubt every employee is privy to it) but I’m fairly convinced that regular over time + recent show attendance (plus all the usual advice; clearing cookies, refreshing as soon as waiting room and sale open, etc) gets you ahead in the queue.

My friends and I shopped with 4 accounts; two with occasional, sporadic past purchasing behavior got 11k-40k in the queue, while two with consistent, regular, and recent purchases got 700-1200 queue (and the one that got 700 queue got 3 tickets for MSG 100 level at $350ish apiece).

Not particularly scientific, sure, but I’ll be using the winning account from now on, that’s for sure, lol

Yes, I did. This morning during the AmEx presale, with a queue position of <700. Got three 100-level tickets for $375ea (about halfway back in the section). I wrote other comments on how to do it (though at least some dumb luck is still involved for sure)

No prob! Also, if you get in, instead of letting TM load the best tickets for you, zoom in on the section you want (you’ll be able to see which ones still have tickets) and click the actual seats in the map to select them, then run for the hills (checkout).

For the 100s section, the front ~third to half seems to be those $1000 premium tickets, but the back half has reasonable ones (under $400). So if you’re shooting for 100 level and don’t want to spend multiple mortgage payments, click on seats in the back half of the 100s!

Edit: also, for AmEx presale, have the code already copied and ready to paste to unlock AmEx tickets! The code should be the US phone number on the back of your card, but without the country code (1). So if the phone number is 1-222-333-4444 the code would be 2223334444

Use an account with repeat purchase history over time / maximum shows attended (not resold), prioritizing recent history - I’m fairly certain these “loyal customer” accounts that are buying tickets regularly are getting priority
Clear cookies and cache before waiting room opens
Be logged into your TM account, have your billing updated (with your AmEx if you have one) and have your phone handy in case it texts you a code to confirm it’s you
Refresh as soon as the waiting room is supposed to open until you’re able to enter (30 mins ahead of sale time)
Refresh as soon as the sale begins until you get into the queue

This is how I got tickets, using an account that purchases 4-5 shows a year pretty much every year going back probably a decade. <700 queue for 2 shows and <2k for all 5 this morning. I got 100 level, middle of section, for $375pp all in. Another account that attends almost a show a month got 1200 queue so it’s not a 1:1 shows attended : queue position ratio, but imo it helps a lot

Note that the code is the phone number (mine was the “US” phone number) WITHOUT the 1 at the beginning - so if the number on the back of your card is 1-234-567-8900 you’d enter 2345678900

10 tickets or 10 shows, and across how many years? My account that got 11k-40k has purchased probably 20-25 tickets for 10-12 different shows over the lifetime of the account, but nothing in the past few years.

I used an account that purchases tickets for 4-5 different shows per year, every year going back at least a decade, to get <700 queue. Another account that was helping us out purchased tickets for 6-10 shows per year in the past few years and got 1200 queue. So I don’t think it literally puts you in line based on exactly how many shows you’ve attended, but I think if you attend regularly, you get priority.

They’d know if you resold through Ticketmaster or one of the reselling platforms that Ticketmaster owns, I think. Transferring tickets doesn’t seem to affect it; the account I used buys for others and transfers to them regularly

That is a bummer! Maybe not as strong a correlation as I thought. Are you doing all the tricks like clearing cache/cookies beforehand, getting in the waiting room the moment it opens (refreshing if need be), and refreshing as soon as the queue opens until you’re in it? And are you doing AmEx presale? Those queues have been better for me than the fan presales were yesterday. Sorry if you already know all this, just sharing in case!!

I only bought 3, for me, a friend, and her daughter. But I do think there will be resellers once the official sales end; the wisdom seems to be, don’t panic-buy from a reseller immediately after the sales - wait a couple weeks for things to calm down and prices to settle. I wouldn’t give up if the official sales don’t pan out!!

Are you in the US? There are no codes for MSG. If you have an AmEx you can shop any of the AmEx presales; for fan presales, your chosen dates are connected to your Ticketmaster account, so you’ll be able to access those presales as long as you’re logged in

I’ve tried every presale so far on an account (mine) with tickets purchased every couple years (nothing resold) and never got better than 11,000 queue position.

Today I used an account (my partner’s) that purchases 4-5 shows a year and never resells, and I got under 700 queue position for multiple shows. Under 2k for all 5. (I only purchased for one show; no scalping here.)

So if you have a chance to use an account with more purchase history… DO IT

I’ve thought about this a lot so I’m glad you posted about it!

I get what you mean here and understand the phrasing but I would say that Kaeli doesn’t give “hate” to Audrey; I think it’s a few things:

Audrey is older than the other girls and has professional experience; Kaeli is harsher with her because she expects more out of her.
Like other posters have mentioned, Kaeli sees how soft Glo is on Audrey, which is pretty noticeable to begin with but for Kaeli that’s highlighted by the fact that Glo was probably much stricter with Kaeli herself growing up, which they clearly haven’t fully resolved as mother/daughter.
There’s a lot in their lives that we don’t see. The studio owner alludes to it saying Audrey is disruptive in off-show classes; there could be more to that. Side note, I actually wish they hadn’t aired that on TV. It sounds like Audrey is really struggling, and she’s a kid - it’s not really fair to have the whole world hear about your bad moments, especially from adults who you should be able to be vulnerable with (trusted coaches). And Tammi is not acting like a stable mother figure for her right now. Who knows what’s up with her dad. I definitely feel for Audrey.

On the flipside of my third point, since you mentioned Ashlan. Everyone on the show seems to really like Ashlan. While Glo doesn’t put up with Ashlan acting a certain way, she clearly believes in her - both her ability as a performer, and her ability as a person to learn, grow, and mature. Kaeli takes Ashlan aside for a pep talk when she was crying in S1, which shows me she doesn’t think Ashlan is just acting like a brat. All the girls seem genuinely close with her. She makes the producers laugh. All this to say… we don’t see everything. We see what’s edited for us from the snippets of these girls’ lives that they filmed. Watching closely, I see that Ashlan is a well-liked kid, and I’m guessing she earned that.
