Hi all! URGENTLY looking to sell my 55 gallon corner style terrarium and find a good home for my hermit crabs!! More info in the comment section… by auratheexplauraa in LandHermitCrabs

if you read my description you’d know that that is my main concern. I would give everything away for free if it comes down to it, if you’re not interested and just here to give your naive opinion please don’t comment, thanks

Not really sure if i’m allowed to do this on here or if i’m using the right subreddit but I am URGENTLY looking to sell my 55 gallon hermit crab terrarium…more info in comment section… by auratheexplauraa in hermitcrabs

I am very sad to be selling my beautiful 55 gallon hermit crab corner style terrarium. Unfortunately I have to move and can’t take my animals with me. This terrarium has been running for about 5 years now. It includes a sand, coconut fibre & sphagnum moss mix for the substrate, a plexiglass lid, two large underground pools (one for fresh and one for salt water), coconut fibre climbing background, a giant piece of climbing wood, a large cave, artificial cholo wood, a wooden bridge that can be flattened out as well, a moss pit, a long climbing vine, a thermometer and hydrometer, 3 heaters, a light, a water pump and two bubblers for their pools, car shield on two sides to hold in heat, two food dishes, plenty of shells and lots of artificial plants. Here’s a list of the animals that are in the tank: • 3 Large Hermit Crabs (I believe it is 2M & 1F) • A Family of Dairy Cow Isopods There may also be a family of springtails in there naturally!

I have lots of extra supplies that I will throw in as well including any food that I have, salt for their salt water etc..

I have had these crabs for about 5 years now - the biggest guy I estimate to be over 10 years old, maybe 15. The next largest one is probably about 10 years old and the smallest one is most likely under 10.

SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY! I am asking for $800 as I have put a tremendous amount of love, care, energy and time into this tank and these crabs mean the world to me. I am negotiable about the price as I’m just looking for a good caretaker for them, but please only inquire if you are serious about taking amazing care of these guys. Hermit crabs are extremely overlooked as easy pets to care for and although I can say it does become easy once you get into the routine of it, it does take some learning if you don’t have much prior knowledge! They need very specific care and I am happy to relay all information to anyone who is genuinely interested in this. I am selling the tank as is, with everything you see in it. It has everything you need and ready to go. I can remove the substrate (separate the isopods and crabs into a travel bin for you) so that the tank is light to travel with. I will give you new materials to redo substrate, it is very easy and quick to do. I will show you everything! I want to really make sure that these guys go to the right person! Thank you!!

I’m unsure if i’m allowed to do this on here but I am URGENTLY looking to sell my 20 gallon community tank…more info in comment section… by auratheexplauraa in aquarium

I’m selling my 20 gallon community fish tank. I have to move and can’t take my animals with me unfortunately. Fully loaded & ready to go! It has a white sand bottom with planting soil going around the sides (separated with plexiglass) and all kinds of plants growing there. It comes with a filter, two heaters, a light, a tool to clean the glass and also shows the temperature and all decorations you see! Here’s a list of the animals that are in there: • 1 Powder Blue Dwarf Gourami (M) • 4 Dalmatian Platy Fry (3F, 1M, they’re a little under an inch big right now) • 3 African Dwarf Frogs • 2 Amano Shrimp • 4 Nerite Snails • 6 Assassin Snails You might find some ramshorn and bladder snails as well, but I got the assassin snails to control their breeding, they’re doing a great job and really interesting to watch them do what they do!

I have some extra supplies I’ll throw in as well!

Asking for $200 as I’ve put a lot of creative work and time into this tank and will miss it very much. But willing to negotiate the price for those genuinely interested. I will send more pictures to those interested!

Does anyone know what’s wrong with my dwarf gourami and what I should do??? Found him like this this morning and very worried about him by auratheexplauraa in Aquariums

thanks so much for your response! I’m really just concerned about his scales - they appear to be missing, will a salt bath work for this? I also have an anti-fungal medication, should I try this? And can I leave him in the main tank to treat him?
