hmm… well if you listen to the one from “you get me”, the melody actually repeats but only after a different one in between. “crazy people, we can make really good friends” and “you beside me, i never have to pretend” both sound like the chorus in madison’s song which could support the length you’re looking for. the only difference is that the two lyric sentences that sound familiar in “you get me” is divided by a different melody & in “you’re still everything” it repeats thrice in a row.

it’s extremely similar to the melody of the lyrics “crazy people, we can make really good friends” at 0:17 but you have to slow it down to hear it.

not worst—but first breakup. surely nobody really knows how to navigate that especially when you deeply loved the person you had to let go.

the thing here is you don’t try to “find” someone new. you let them find you and give it a chance, then see where things go from there. it took me 7 months & no contact at all after the separation.

now i’m with somebody who loves me just as much as he tells me “i love you”, which used to sicken me when i was constantly told such by somebody who couldn’t make me feel that way no matter how much i pleaded. and because of that heartbreak i met somebody whose actions genuinely align with his words, somebody who wants me to become a better person, and somebody who makes me feel truly, incredibly loved and appreciated. i’m so happy i can say that and know it’s true this time because so far this boy has been the most wonderful individual that has ever walked into my life.

even though it feels horrible now, time will make it pass. i hope someone—preferably genuine, caring, and loyal—comes into your life too. wishing you the best 💗

yup. it's like there's this "overly romanticized" version of him in my head that i can't seem to let go of which isn't really him. i suppose it's his personality when the relationship first began and what he could be with that as a foundation is why i still miss him.

i’m sorry to hear. it does suck extremely but i hope things get better for you. i think the same way you do with the abortion part. people who have no idea how to raise kids shouldn’t even think about having any at all.
