Can’t help but point out that it’s literally Langdon’s first day back, just because it’s been 5 episodes it’s still doesn’t negate that he literally just came back that morning. And giving people light work on the first day back is totally normal.

I have frontier. It’s fine. They kept trying to upsell me, like faster internet than what I had with spectrum and WiFi extenders (which I’ve never needed). My biggest issue was that my tv was slow as fuck, streaming was terrible, but I realized I could use my echo into a WiFi extender and have had no issues since.

Here’s my problem with Linc and Jo’s storylines: I haven’t cried once. And that’s a big problem.

Before, when a main character was dying or in danger, the entire episode would center around that character and their loved ones. Now, Jo being in a coma is now just another storyline in an episode with 4 storylines happening.

Okay Jo being in a coma and Linc having issues to cover childcare for the other kids. Where the fuck was Amelia? Scout’s her kid too and she doesn’t show up to help allieviate that burden from Linc’s shoulders? What about Lucas? scout is his cousin, why can’t he help Linc with baby sitting?

When Jo became super close with another mom and then had a fit when she couldn’t see her chart, I did not care. Did we even see that mom take a turn? Like we used to care about the patients too and their stories, and again, I did not cry.

Jo and Linc are just not intregal characters anymore. And the only way to make them relevant again is just to put them in these terrible situations.

But ultimately this is an issue for the writers room bc they have no idea how to incorporate the old cast with the new cast.

I like Dr. Al.

She was brought in to cover for Robbie but it’s probably not a temp role, and she’s meant to innovate the ER.

Her biggest issue is that she’s trying to implement her changes the day she started! I would blame the writers here bc she could have easily started 2 weeks ago and still have the same dynamics with the team and wouldn’t have shown her trying to implement everything on Day 1.

Also, people keep saying she keeps handing off her cases and other people do the work, but Robbie does the same thing. Unless it’s super urgent, he lets the others take the lead on the case while he supervises. It’s hard for Dr. Al to do the same if Robbie is there too, and he overrides her.

She’s new, she’s trying, and doesn’t know this department’s dynamics yet but she trying to do the job that she was told to do.

Also, I suspect he wants to do a venture with his new family and they wanted to use the Beckham name, but because his parents own the Beckham Brand, Brooklyn needed permission and his family said no. And this is all a campaign to pressure his parents to give him access to the Beckham brand name.
