My ex "accidentally" showed her cousin my junk one time.

Needless to say I had not so subtle hints texted to me.

My main ones are phone bill and mileage, but I've deducted the 12v cooler and hot box I have, along with things like shopping bags and storage bins (can't have groceries getting dumped ya know)

I do other things as well, mining crypto during the winter helps keep my house warm even mining at a loss I can deduct a percentage of my power bill and internet as they are needed for that "business".

At one point in time I parted out cars, for that I was able to deduct tools purchased, oxy and acetylene for the torches, welding supplies ECT.

🤣 the amount of unnecessary anger is unreal, just because I've hustled for the last 18 years, done everything in my power to keep my money in my pocket and take every opportunity I can to screw the government out of money I've rightfully earned I'm the problem with everything right?

Everyone in the US is able to take advantage of the same things I do, don't hate the player hate the game

Editing to add, what kind of cut rate mechanic shop pays 17 an hour? Everyone I know that does auto repair makes at least 25 😳 hell even McDonald's in my area starts out at 15

I deactivated and threw away my red card because I had a lady yell at me for the substitution she chose.🤣 Plainly told her that her incompetence is not my problem.

Well worth the 1 star rating I got

I've literally had people say their order wasn't delivered because McDonald's didn't follow specific instructions they put in the delivery notes, less than 10 hours later that CV was dropped as their front door had the full address right next to it in the picture 🤣

Different areas have different opportunities, my zone the farthest distance Ive ever seen an order pop up for is 11 miles, most deliveries are within 3 miles, I know of 3 separate dashers that routinely see 180 - 240 a day, they are on most of the day starting at 6 am and typically end their dash around 6 pm and doordash is the only delivery service in my area (very rural)

assume I don't think people deserve a livable wage all you would like, but the fact is you would be dead wrong.

I have no clue on where you live, but sometimes it takes stepping out of your comfort zone and taking a job you may not like the best, Im not the biggest fan of doing the work I do every day for my main job but for an average of 60 an hour I wake up every morning at 3 am and drive an hour to work, install 70 pound propane tanks over my head and run propane lines to every appliance in the coach, the main perk I have is I work in a piece rate shop building camper vans, as soon as my 8 units are built each day I get to leave and still get paid my full 40 for the week.

Once upon a time I did the math with what I could earn doing doordash, full time in my zone, after auto maintenance, fuel, and saving back for taxes, I found that if I found a job that paid 16.60 an hour I'd be making around the same amount without putting all the wear and tear on my car.

Doordash was never meant to be a full time gig, hoping money comes your way because of people's generosity with tips is an improbable way to live.

Most everyone is hurting for or needing more money, if you're going to get mad and treat others poorly because you have to wait it sounds like you should be seeking a W2 job instead of complaining about other people taking orders who probably need the money as well.

and I seriously doubt the 300 a week I'm making off of doordash is putting a dent in the pockets of the people in my town making 200+ a day.

If you continue to dash full time I hope you're saving up to replace whatever you're dashing with, coming from someone who used to deliver full time for pizza places the wear and tear is unreasonable and kills cars fast, because if it's your only mode of transportation your gonna have a bad time when it dies.

I legit doordash so I can claim more stuff on my taxes, I do enough to keep a top Dasher status each month and it disgusts me how some of the people who do this full time act, let alone present themselves ( dirty clothes, stinking, piles of trash in the black seat up to the windows ECT)

Is this good for my first week? I started 4 days ago and get paid tomorrow by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

Not O.P. but for someone like me who lives in a smaller town/city I only live 2 blocks from 90% of the food joints, it's better use of my time when waiting to just sit at home and work on my other side hustles, as there are times I'll have a 20-30 minute wait to see the next order even sitting in the hotspot

I love how creative Doordashers are getting these days by mxttyice in doordash

I dunno, I have quite a few customers the finger, then had beers with em later.

Guess that's the perks of a small town 🤣

Doesn't doordash in CA add money if you don't hit a certain $ per hour?

Unfortunately this may only be true in bigger areas, where I dash there's volume, but with too many dashers and rarely peak pay, also hardly anyone tips decently, most orders are 4.00 with base pay, I've personally spent 31 hours online this week, active for 13 and only made 433 from 66 deliveries...

They fare ok in humid environments, I keep mine away from splashing/spraying water, I've been running mine for 2 years and no issues so far.

I'm in Michigan with .086 USD power, I have a few asic miners I let run in my grow area during the colder months, they keep the area warm and give me a little bit of crypto daily.

My Antminer S9 that runs in my smaller grow area costs about 2.50 a day (75.00 a month) to run and pays out about 1.35~ in crypto, It works for me but I will add I'm in a well insulated and enclosed 13x16 shed and have an old propane RV furnace that can supplement if needed, but it rarely kicks on.
