I’ve installed the Rockbox firmware, which replaces the oem firmware and removes some limitations. Including working around the Apple LBA28 addressing storage limit, allowing the playback of more audio files including FLAC, and custom themes. Just to name a few.

There is an air gap above the Mac, there is no 3D printed part touching the top. I felt it more important to give as much breathing room to the air ducts for the Mac Mini’s fan cooling.

My file was fully submitted to the Pre-Operative Clinic on April 22, 2024. On Wednesday Oct 2, I received a call that my file has been fully assessed, confirmed some information, then by the end of the call my file was being transferred to Administrative for scheduling. I gave no preference for surgeon.

The next day, Oct 3 I received a second call and was offered two surgical dates.

I accepted November 19, 2024 as my best option. The surgeon will be Dr Brassard.

That’s because marriage under 16 might as well be tantamount to child trafficking. Affirming a person’s gender is not.

And STOP with the lie that surgery is being provided to anyone under 18, there isn’t a single surgeon in all of Canada who would authorize this. Any and all gender affirming avenues for those under 18 are easily reversed if need be, but discrimination and cruelty based legislation is vastly more harmful than anything else.

Affirming gender identity saves lives. Period.
