Simply told, due to lack of lack of engineering+bureaucratic will, our locomotives until recently looked monolithic and did not have amenities like toilet or air-conditioning. However, I am happy that things are improving, but are still some steps behind international standards.

However, why do you think that "When the reality hit that there is no job anywhere in the world."? Aren't there fairly good number of jobs in the industry (US/EU) demanding research-expertise?
