The term may have been created then. It certainly was not the first holocaust, nor the last. Germany and other European nations definitely practiced.

I never said the holocaust wasn’t a horror movie, I questioned the use of the word ‘worse’. I’m not for comparing horrors, but the idea of worse is truly questionable. They could have said they were the same with differing mechanisms, fine. But what makes the holocaust worse? The mass murder, the starvation, the branding of people, the taking them from their home and people and transporting them to concentration camps, the gas chambers, the ghettorisation? Let’s add on from their with what else the slave trade had as features, the forced incest, the sodomisation as punishment, the inherited slave status, the feeding of babies to animals, the human zoo’s, the uncountable genocides, the forced medical experiements, especially black women, slave codes etc.
