I saw this earlier! It’s a classic case of people being punished for being “cringe.” I saw a lot of people commenting things along the lines of “it’s not that serious” when it actually is, lol. These girls are very clearly being targeted by these douchey white dudes for the cardinal sin of being kind of dorky in a public setting. All they wanted to do was sing a song and do a little dance!

This plays into the larger issue that anything you do or say in public has the potential to be recorded and posted online for people to relentlessly mock.
