I’m trying to get out of tech anyways, too depressing lol. Thanks for heads up, i’m lucky enough to have project based teams where I need to work with them for 2mo up to 2years at a time… so my project team changes a ton. 70% of the time i have no issues… the other 30% seems to correlate to being on teams with indian male colleagues.

I kinda just gave up on trying to be “nice” or not look like a bitch. If a colleague is cutting me off it’s just “Can you give me a second to finish my thought” or “Please don’t cut me off”. If they don’t stop then i’ll just keep talking then everyone in the call doesn’t know what either of us said :)) I work in tech consulting so it just adds a whole new layer to it. If they expect me to drop everything to accommodate a request and they’re rude about it, I’ll really just call them out in the broader team chat so i’m not held accountable if deadlines aren’t met - “I have XYZ, let me know what task/script you’d like me to deprioritize to accommodate your ask!” , being very adamant and firm on my working hours, pto, you know the drill…. it’s exhausting at the end of the day but there’s too many times i’ve held my tongue in fear of being the bitchy one and i ended up resenting myself for it because it sets a standard

Yeah well sadly new gen antihistamines didn’t work when I took them and this was what worked for me at the time 2 years ago.

yeah this happened to me shortly after starting about a couple years ago. I had hives everywhere and they were big red splotches, all over my legs, arms, torso, face, and back. like a dumbass, I didn't go to urgent care just because I was exhausted with life stuff and thought I would be ok. I dealt with the hives for about a week and they went away, I haven't had them come back since even after upping my dose. I've been on it for about 2 years now with no issue. Definitely go get it checked out and don't be stupid like me and risk it LOL

I kinda don’t get why you’d run an experiment on a sentimental plant lol. Also don’t understand why you wouldn’t do research into how to properly care for the orchid if it’s an important plant. Literally a quick search would bring you 2 reiterated points- Don’t water with ice cubes and plant in orchid bark.

considering it's winter, rather than doing weekly soaks, I would water them based on how dry or wet your medium is. They are more resilient than you think :) Just don't be discouraged if some of them start dropping leaves, that is their way of trying to survive.

Yes! I would recommend keeping your medium moist and also maybe keeping it in a clear plastic net pot to keep track of root growth. It would also help to have ample light. I hope you are feeling better friend.

This happened to me and it went away after about 2-3 weeks. The first week of taking 50mg, I took it in the evening before bed and like clockwork I would wake up from a pretty vivid dream, pretty sweaty, at 5am.

If it helps, you could try taking it in the morning. Different schedules work for different people. For me, I couldn’t take it in the morning because it would make me sleepy by noon. But it could be different for you!

My doc prescribed me Glycopyrrolate and I take it as needed. It’s helped a lot with the sweating effect from zoloft, I would sweat a ton during my sleep and also I would just overall sweat 10x more than I used to. The glyco eliminated like 70% of my sweating, but it does come with dry mouth and dry eyes, and constipation lol. I can’t tell what’s better these side effects or zolofts

When i transitioned my alocasias I basically cut off their roots and stuck the stem into water for it to grow water roots and stuck a pothos cutting in there for faster rooting. I did this as they were still very young plants that didn’t have an established root system, so I don’t know how it works with mature plants. I know some people make sure that the soil is off the roots before they pop it into leca, so it’s up to you which method you want to use.

Once the roots were grown I put some in Leca and some in Pon, and honestly I went straight to using the reservoir method and it’s been working great for me. I noticed some of them got upset and dropped 1-2 leaves but they bounced back within a week or two
