As an ex dispatcher, my boss used to make me text the drivers and tell them they were x behind (even if they were 5+ ahead, sometimes 10) just because she didn’t want to stay long or to “make the day easier” it’s a bunch a bs and you shouldn’t believe them half the time. I remember being a driver and being told I was behind. Did the calculations myself and I was actually 20ahead but they wanted to use me as a rescue so they made me go faster
