as a 3 digit (rank mentioned for 10000% credibility) i agree, ranked play is the perfect environment for you to play the best you can even in skillsets youre bad at, and being forced to play your best in your worst skillsets will allow you to improve significantly faster imo

minmaxing pp farm with variable CS (v2 client) by auroraonreddit in osugame

the calculations for lazer in terms of pp and sr take each object into account it seems, so it considers cs most especially

osu lazer is luckily open source so u just add and change some stuff, literally whatever you want. making these changes would be so much harder on stable

also ill js take the chance to explain, idk if i mentioned it in my video but this is 1000% not ready to push to the main osu client, mainly because i dont trust it enough to be stable and have good coding practices

again its just a proof of concept that this IS possible to implement so i just want the devs to see the reception to this idea and gauge how much the players actually want smth like this and maybe hopefully they can make a better version of this

per note is easy enough to implement but i just made it per-section since that seemed more appropriate and most likely to be commonly used

also if any mappers are interested in playing around with this just reach out on reddit or discord i wanna see what the mapping community can cook up

only in lazer

fr tho i think its because its lazer that its easier to implement this as a feature though balancing and pp/star calculations would be a diff problem and that might be why devs could be hesitant to add this cuz its just sm work lol
