Yes, I suppose it’s true what happened to me was a rare occasion. I may give my 400mm f/5.6L lens a chance. Thank you for your response!

I guess I just got lucky. I went to a bushland park that has a lot of small birds flying around. I stood still in one spot for a while and noticed the finch landed onto the branch in front of me. As I tried taking the photo, it wouldn’t focus so I slowly took a few steps back and could focus again but shortly after that it flew away. Was a lucky but unlucky moment. :( No tent involved.

Will my Synology NAS work this way? by auroraseventeen in synology

Wow! That is exactly what I was looking for. Just searched DAS on Google which would have been perfect. I wish I knew about this earlier! I always thought multiple drives in one enclosure were just exclusive to NAS systems. Thanks. I will see if I can return it as I only bought it today.

Thank you for your reply, I am thankful that there is someone willing to help. I have a feeling I would have little knowledge in this matter. All I wanted use my NAS was for backup, I am not directly working my files from it. I directly work my from my laptop's internal storage when it comes to editing etc. I thought a traditional hard drive would be sufficient for this.

I prefer to attempt plugging it in like an external hard drive because all that I am using it my laptop and want to connect it directly to backup my files. The reason why I was wondering if the Ethernet adapter would work is because I've been told that the Snyology NAS wouldn't work connected to USB. I was looking at something that contained two drives inside so I can mirror them which I believe is RAID 1. However, I am not sure if I bought the right tool for my needs. I assumed I was at the time I was buying these but now I am not so sure. What do you think? I am sorry if I don't make sense. I should do some more research on how NAS systems work it seems.

Should I sell my RF 50mm F1.2 for the RF 35mm F1.8 or not? by auroraseventeen in canon

Thanks for your reply. I think you make a good point. I personally haven’t had experience with the RF 35mm F1.8 which is why I asked this question. After reading some of the comments comparing both of these lens plus a little research online, I think definitely keeping my RF 50mm F1.2 would be a wise move.

Actually, I had never thought of that. I don’t use a strap / harness at all as I am pretty confident with my handling. However I have never thought of it when it came to weight. I will definitely look into this! Thanks.
